I think we (my husband, actually) are the only ones in our neighborhood that wash our vehicles at home. It’s rather odd. My car is a 2006 & when I took it in last month to be inspected, the woman at the counter thought it was much newer! I have a wonderful husband. He does practically all the maintenance on our vehicles, including big jobs like new brakes!

Hi Lauren, I bring to car wash, I just can't do it myself anymore. But I keep inside clean and do my best cleaning the windows. I'm short and its hard for me to reach. But I do take care of my car and things. We work hard for what we have and I believe its important to take care and appreciate. Your amazing. God bless.

Range Rover is my dream car too! But for now I have a sharp, sporty Nissan Maxima SV😂🤩!!! I've always detailed my own cars. For 1, I save money...2, I'm so particular😆 and 3, I really enjoy it! I don't have one of those pressure washers I'm old school. My car hasn't been cleaned for several months and that's usually not like me😳 You totally motivated me to get my car cleaned and detailed! Oil change and tire rotation this morning, detail and wash this afternoon! Florida heat is too bad for the middle of the day🥵 Love your ride all your videos and most importantly you😘 TY for all the time you put in making these videos for us🤍💋

Late to the game as usual. My dream car was a Hummer. I was marriage shy and my sweet fiancee told me that if I would finally marry him, he would give me both health insurance and buy me my dream car. I loved her! Her name was Chanel and I had her for years. She was chromed to the max and besides the silly red cardinals that thought they had found their mates and pooed all over it, she was a dream! I now drive a Jeep but want to explore the new Hummer trucks coming out one of these days. I enjoy all your videos and love the fact that you are so traditional and down to earth. Thanks for sharing, just as important to clean our Auto's as to clean our home's. I clean my car once a week, detail once a month. My mother always said you can tell how someone keeps their home by their Automobiles. I have found that true. Very satisfying.
Never thought about it that way but yes, very true!! People think I'm crazy bc I swiffer my dash and counsel before I get out...every time lol

We never have chick fila left overs. They are always gobbled up. I love the air fryer for bacon, porkchops or steaks. Don't usally heat up leftovers in the airfryer but it is a good idea.

You are so smart. Car is nice. My car get like that sometimes and I don’t have grandchildren in there. I have a powerXL air fryer and I mostly do breakfast meat in it. I sometimes bake chicken. You did a great job on car.
We don't detail our car often enough .. but I generally focus on the inside. I've used a toothpick or a toothpick with a little bit of a thin piece of material like an old tshirt and got in and around the buttons and cracks on the display panels and creases.
So enjoyed and your car is gorgeous! With white you can at least see where the dirt is to clean......great job!

I was literally cleaning out my car when I turned your video on without realizing what you were doing. We went tubing this weekend so I had a kinds of junk and items in my car.
I typically wash my own car if I have time. If I'm in a hurry or just get a sudden urge while I'm out I'll go through the car wash & then do a good vacuum & wipe down. I've also wondered if the mrs. Myers would be ok for my leather interior.
I love waxing my car. I actually waxed my husband's car for the first time after we had only been dating 2 months. He came home from work on his motorcycle while I was waxing it. He said oh yeah...she's a keeper.

Hi Lauren, we recently bought the Ninja Foodi air fryer and it's great! Once french fries get cold, they usually get thrown out. The air fryer makes them so good!

You have cleaned more places than i knew the car had. I feel lazy. My only excuse and it is a good one. We are in a drought in Iowa so will not be washing our car. I really don't like a dirty car. or a lawn that is dying. I get enough water from our dehumidifier so my plants on the deck are ok. You have given a good lesson and I will watch you in the next. Hi, oddly liked this video … going to clean my car now. One suggestion from RUclips channel Chris FX, I’d suggest using different rags for vehicle body and tires to avoid adding micro scratches to car from sand and grit from tires.
There is a small space I couldn't reach in my car with the vacuum. After watching you, I took a toothbrush and was able to clean it out. Thanks!!

Yep, when I can I wash my own car. I'm 68, have had 5 surgeries (2 on my back), still own a business and work a lot of hours, but when I can I do it all, just like you were doing. No one does my car better than me, for sure! I also have worked really hard for the car I have now and you better believe I'm taking care of it! The dealer does a shine similar to a wax every 6 months or so, so thankfully right now I don't need to wax it. Trying to do that all in one day would be tough on my body! LOL My only daughter is older now, so I have no children I cart around so my car stays pretty clean. I have a very light gray interior but it is spotless! I'm in Wisconsin, so during the winter I take it somewhere to get washed as there's no way you are washing it in your driveway in subzero weather. But I can't stand a dirty car!

P.S. try googone for the sap. It will take it right off. You can buy Googone spray or the gel at menards. Not sure if you have a menards.

I know you posted this a couple months ago and may not see this. But hand sanitizer works best for breaking down sap and you won't have to scrape at it.
Nothing brings mother’s together like mutual dirty areas😂😂. I feel so much better knowing that there are other families who’s cars get as messy as mine.

Mail polish remover on a cotton ball removes sap. I have done it and it works great. After you do it then rinse off any reisdue

Your spec on the Range Rover is 🎯🎯🎯!!! I personally prefer gloss over a matte wrap. You would be a perfect candidate for using a clay bar to remove surface contaminants. It’s an automotive detailing product where you wet the surface with Instant Detailer spray and then rub the clay bar over the painted surface and magically it picks up all kinds of gunk! It just might get that sap off a bit easier next time? I use Mother’s but also love other brands.
I will check that out, I have a couple Mother's products at the house!

Tip from growing up way out in the woods: rubbing alcohol will take sap / pitch off of just about anything, even fabric. It works like magic. 😊

Yes, I wash my SUV too. I use special mitten towels for both hands for drying off. It will go faster. They are old and I don't remember where I bought them, probably QVC.

On you air fryer you can put aluminum foil on the bottom so the oil fall in there and it will help with the clean up.

Have you ever heard of H20 cleaning products? It’s all natural and they have special chiffoniers, micro fiber, cloths to clean your car windows with only water! My windows are beautiful after! I love their products, especially the clay powder, that stuff is magic, you can use it to clean silver, shower doors almost anything you can think of. My daughter sold it years ago and got me hooked.

Turpentine will take off the sap without messing up the paint. What will ruin the paint is letting sap sit on there.
Try some baby oil on the sap.

Okay I don't normally comment. But using a pressure washer on your car. My husband restores classic cars he told me are you crazy. Especially our power washer it is a high powered power washer. And I've washed all of our vehicles. Even did it when I was 9 mouths pregnant. We have 4 hot rods . Two crew cab long bed 4 wheel drive trucks.. I have a large 90 Suburban my husband just repainted twice. The paint is crap that they make now.. I always clean under the hood as well. All our Vehicles mostly are old ones.
My husband has a classic car and he has used a power washer designed for just cars, which is what she was using. And if you knew my husband, he would never ever destroy paint on his car....he refuses to use any car wash anywhere. His classic car looks like new as well as his everyday vehicle.A regular power washer, no, that would be crazy.
Huh crazy. My husband detailed at Aston Martian in Florida and did anything from audi to Lamborghini and they used pressure washers.

I have learned that for me, my home must be in proper order. And my vehicle has to match! If my house is clean but my car isn't , inside and out .....I feel like a disordered slob. Just does my head in. My daughternlaw told me she does not have to clean her car because my { oldest} son just makes sure it is squared away. Guess he takes after his old mom. LOL!
