I think you should put the green chairs in the entry way and the blue ones in the dining room. But in the entry way, I would put the chairs and the table against the wall that had the secretary table. I wouldn't block the bench under all those pictures. Nevertheless your home is beautiful 😍

You have a knack for decorating, so many frames on the wall yet they look beautiful the way you have them displayed. I would never have thought to mix and match the patterns but you make it look amazing and placing furniture in front of furniture-genius!
I would never think to put furniture in front of the built ins but it works! Makes the spaces look extra cozy plus you get extra seating!
So lovely!!!, I would get rid of the white terracota in the mantel and maybe add some gold and some blue or white china with no pattern instead. But fantastic transformation!

I love the green chairs in the dining room - they are modern and yet traditional. The handle detail on the back is a great touch. I think if you swapped out all the chairs for the green it would look amazing. Love the mirror with the books - it is bouncing light and is interesting to their eye. Great work Lauren.
Lauren, You have an beautiful talent for decor, pulling a variety of styles together to make a cohesive design.i do think you need to review your decision to use the small rug under the dining table. The chairs should sit on the rug, which will alleviate your concerns about tripping. I like your new green chairs, The handle on the back is great for decorating ideas. However, the overall scale appears too small for the table and room. . I personally like the writing desk in the entry alcove, using one blue chair in front, the other aside. Perhaps the green chairs would be fun to try. Put blue and white mini bouquet in the handles. Use the larger rug there and the smaller at the door. Your mirror in the hall is gorgeous over the table. What fun to try new things!

Thank goodness you display your book titles and have not gone with showing them in a negative way ( taking their beautiful covers off and hiding the titles as some home flips are doing) . Hi Lauren! Wow, those green chairs are stunning! I'm not at all a Modern decor gal, but those two chairs were just beautiful in that space. I wouldn't add any more....the two as the accents are perfect. That Anthro mirror is to die for! One day I'll get me one....I really love the floor mirror they have! Everything flowed so nicely from one room to the other. Can't wait for the Fourth touches. I also add decor for the Fourth and I love it!

Don't know if you'll even see this but was wondering if you'd thought of finding an old, vintage, wine label stamp or stencil for your dining room chairs (the fabric backs and or seats). Or even use your cricut to cut out, iron on - wine labels, French labels, Hermes....

Hi Lauren, I have been watching about two months now and I am really enjoying your videos. I love the Traditional style also. The blue and white is so fresh. I added navy blue to my very traditional style living room this last year and it was a huge facelift 😃 Nice tablescape!
Love, love your style. I'm a "blue and white girl" also. I have a large collection of Japan Blue Willow, most from occupied Japan. A cabinet in my kitchen houses doll and child Blue Willow, pass down from my Grandmother. I asked my son once what he will do with this collection when I'm gone? He said, "I have two words for you ...."Garage Sale". I guess he's not a fan of blue and white.

I LOVE the blue and white chinoiserie, the new arrangements of furniture and the two new blue velvet chairs. I prefer the new vignette in the foyer over the previous one with the secretary. I also love the color of the green DR chairs but the scale, IMO is a bit small.

Love this and how the blue and white accents continued room to room. Fresh white flowers, love, love always. Anthro mirror great & the large books. My only comment is the entry is great and inviting but I don't think you really need 2 tables between the chairs. One table is a cleaner look, in my opinion. Great warm welcoming look throughout. Now I need to add more blue/white to what I already own.
