Happy Halloween!! Let's get Decorating!!!!
Today we are going to decorate the entry way for halloween! I was super inspired by the movie Hocus Pocus and I decided to do a Sanderson Sisters house entryway that used vintage books, witch hat, black crow birds, candles and skulls. I hope this inspires you to decorate for halloween and gets you excited!

I love last year’s Halloween decor but I think this years may be even better. Both are fabulous and inspiring!
I remember loving last year's (I love everything you decorate), but I am REALLY loving this! I also love that you re-use what you have and add a little to it. It's what I do so I can relate better. I also use my stuff in a different way each year and don't decorate the same way twice, even using the same things.
One of min and two daughters favorite movies for Halloween. Now my granddaughter too.

You really inspired me this year! I don't have a lot of places to display Halloween stuff in our small apartment, but instead of trying to cram everything (skeletons, apothecary bottles, strange creatures I've sculpted) into one space as per usual, I flipped some cool looking books on their sides, and spread stuff out with a few on each shelf. I really love your aesthetic! Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi Lauren. I absolutely love your sense of whimsy and passion with decorating. And your passion for your family and home life. I’ve been binge watching the videos. Can I say they have really brought some much needed joy into my daily routine? The past year has been so difficult for nurses and I find that curling up with my iPad at the end of the day is awesome. Keep up the great work.
As always original & inspiring.i have 2 hacks for you. (1) if you can plug in a diffuser place in cauldron it looks like smoke coming from it plus smells good.(2) half fill poison bottles with water & few drops of food colouring.i think it would look more authentic than empty bottles .. your children must be so excited.good job 🎃🕸️🖤

I bought a fog machine from Spirit several years ago and although it was pricey it was worth it. We did a Harry Potter party and had the fog machine by our whomping willow. It was such a cool effect especially for the trick or treaters.

Love it! I used a fog machine many times for our Halloween partys we had for 21 yrs! They are cool ,but they can leave a film on your floor and make it really slippery. We started using them outside instead! Hope this helps!! Once again love the decor!!!

Hocus Pocus fun, fill your potion bottles with water food colouring. Dracula cape would work for cloak as well, yes items are hard to find.
Your kids are so lucky! How fun for them to always have the home changed up celebrating each season, Halloween has to be at the top of their list. This was so fun to watch you decorate!
They love it!! I usually let them play with the decor for a day or two before I actually do these decorate with me videos and they go nuts.

Binging all your videos because I’m in love with you! you can get an inexpensive oil diffuser from Amazon and you can put it in a cauldron and put that on your display this year! It’s so creepy looking some diffusers have an option for a green or purple light and it makes it even creepier. that’s what I’ve been doing and I get so many compliments on it! And no smoke machine

MY granddaughter loves that her Uncle Mike is in Hocus Pocus. We love that movie. I love your decorating and your spider webs have inspired me not to dust the area I decorated with a skull motif. The dust actually works.

Just wondering... have you ever done The Haunted Mansion theme? It just seems the obvious choice with your style home and yearly decor suggests it wouldn't take much and you could leave a lot of you year round decor in place and just build in the creep factor. On that note you could also do a Sleepy Hollow theme, building off the Van Tassel manor or Hogwart's esthetic. You have so much to build on that it just seems so obvious.
