Love seeing all the fun things you both are working on. I really enjoy all the inspiration! If you had a stitch along any evening or Saturday morning would work for me. I love to cross stitch and I also enjoy quilting. Keep up the great videos.
I too just stumbled upon you also. Rarely do I find a flosstube were I love everything they are doing, but you girls! Love your color selections and I’m sewing along with a few of your projects. And quilting too!!
I just stumbled upon you girls and I am obsessed. You guys are so organized, I love it! I think one of my favorite parts about y'all is that you work on Aida.
Just discovered your channel. You two are such fun! Love all the projects and crafty goodness. And yay for women in science! I've been working in microbiology for over 20 years. Can't wait for your next video.
First time viewing you ladies… love your floss tube. Projects are awesome! I didn’t know till the end you were mom and daughter, thought you were friends!!,
OMG! People who don’t stitch on linen and evenweave! You’re now my faves and I would love hang out with you. Can you do a video on all the different types and colors of Aida?
Just discovered your channel. You don't need a serger to sew around your fabric. I use my machine and just do a zig zag stitch. Works just as well. I will definitely be watching again. It's nice to find other Aida stitchers and someone who converts almost everything to DMC
YAY JHU! My institute is on Homewood Campus - Mueller building. Congrats on graduating! So glad I found you. I really enjoy your videos - thank you for sharing!
Hello ladies! I just found your channel and became a subscriber. Madison, I hope you feel better soon. Enjoyed seeing all of your organization and projects. Thank you for posting your conversion for Winter Rosewood Manor. I plan to stitch this someday. Looking forward to seeing your next video. A live stitch session would be fun. I don't have anyone to stitch with and could use some more stitchy friends. Happy stitching!
Thank you for watching and subscribing! Madison is on the mend, thank you for your kind words. We were happy to post Madison's Winter Rosewood Manor conversions, they are beautiful! Happy stitching!
Just found your channel. Another blogger mentioned you 2 as being Aida stitcher. That is what I stitch on also. So many people stitch on linen and I don't understand it and don't think I could see the holes. You have a fun floss tube! Thanks.
Alicia, The Fanciful Flamingo, recommended your flosstube. Boy, am I glad! I am going to binge watch your other 25!! The microscope quilt is perfection!! LOVE your channel!
What a Joy to hear about both of your crafty adventures. Lovely stitches! It is nice to see the patterns come to life on 14 count. The Winter Rose Manner is beautiful and different then most I’ve seen. Is the fabric dirty Adia? How about listing your floss changes. Your house is fabulous! Be Well
You got a shout out from Bumble Stitches and that’s how I found you. Also love the fact that you both are Aida stitchers. The patterns are gorgeous no matter the thread count…that’s my theory. Your finishes and wips are beautiful and several I have never seen. I have the Snow Village also and usually start in the middle and all that white was daunting so I haven’t started. I love the idea of doing one chart a month. I’ll start upper right then. I also did 12x12 on the 31st. Have I picked them up since? Sadly no. Time to put them in my rotation. I would love to be in a Live and meet stitchers. My closest LNS is Tulsa, OK and that’s 1 1/2 hours away. I’m in OKC. I quilt, crochet, rug hook and some wool crafts also. Until next video, happy stitching!
It was so nice of Bumble Stitches to give us a shout-out! It can always be helpful to break a big pattern like Snow Village up into blocks. Madison has been really enjoying stitching it each month! Thank you for watching our video!
Thelma writes: Oh hello there again. I have just joined your channel and I would like send you my apology as in my previous comments, I thought you were sisters, but while listening to one of Bonnie's videos, I picked up that Madison is Bonnie's daughter! My goodness, you look so much alike and can be taken as sisters! What a wonderful duo! Love your channel and love all what you do. Please continue with your fun videos and greetings from New Zealand.
Just found you care of the utube random suggestions. Your suggestion on tools you use. I found fantastic. I’m definitely using the tin idea and the app for calculating the size fabric you need is a app I have immediately downloaded and will use every time. Thank you I’m now going back to find all your other episodes you’ve got me hooked 😂❤
Hi ladies! What a fun video! Your channel came up as a suggested channel by RUclips, and I’m so glad it did!! You showed some beautiful finishes and WIPS. The Map of Hawk Run Hollow is amazing on that gold fabric!! 😍. And your microscope quilt is AMAZING!! I look forward to going back to watch from episode 1. Cheers!!
Loved seeing all of the cross stitch progress and plans. I so want to make Winter Rose Manor - thanks for listing your changes. That microscope quilt is phenomenal! I can see why it went viral. I am also doing the Lori Holt granny squares afghan. I used to crochet a very long time ago but only very basic. I just love the chunky threads and their matte finish. I haven’t blocked any yet (they look great btw). I’ve made about 80-90 of them. Yes, this was a long one but I loved every minute - keep it up!
WOW! 80-90 I am so jealous! I am super slow at making granny squares just like cross stitching :) But I still love all the things no matter how slow I am.
First time viewing you gals and I will definitely be returning. I learned so many new things. I’m also an Aida stitcher. I love your projects. Hope to see another flosstube soon. Hi to Gus. 🎉
Thelma writes: Oh hello there Bonnie, hope you, family and Apollo are well. Guess what?!? I searched your very beginning Flosstube video, found it and have been listening to #1 - 2. Very interesting listening how you began cross stitching. Like you, my dear Mum was excellent in cross stitching, embroidery and sewing. She used to do Hardanger as well, which I also love. My Mum showed me how to embroider when I was about 7 yrs old and have loved it ever since. Bonnie, it is so much fun following your journey in crafting, hearing your stories, and I love how you call it "Curly Girl Crafter", it is really YOU. I also love making project bags, we can not have enough of them, can we, Bonnie? I laughed when you showed the SPAM fabric and said that you do not like SPAM. I am with you here and don't understand how some people just love SPAM. No, keep away from it, not even for Apollo. Going to watch more of your previous videos. Wonder if you will have new ones in the pipeline?? Look forward to that! Greetings from NZ to you 💐 💐
I just found your floss tube channel from Sweet Water Stitcher, and I’m so glad I did! I love stitching on Aida, mostly 14 count! So it’s so nice to see all the different patterns done on Aida 14,16 & 18 count! I really enjoyed this video!
Welcome to our channel! It was so kind of Sweet Water Stitcher to mention us! We always love seeing more Aida stitchers! Happy stitching and thanks for watching!
I am new to you but the thought of a live stitch Q&A or some sort of a stitch along would be fun. You are both such a delight. It is refreshing to see a mother daughters relationship that is so loving.
I’m enjoying my visit with you both. I’m from New Zealand and would love to visually stitch with you. That would be fun. Blessings and happy stitching.
I just found you gals and how fun! Your sweet friendship shows in your joy of stitching! So nice to see young gals enjoying this art. I’d tune into a stitch along! Happy stitching!!
Thelma writes: Hello lovely girls. I am a grandma in my 70s and have just found you in RUclips. Like both of you, I love and have been cross stitching, sewing, quilting, anything crafty for a long time. I admire both and sisters as well, of your interests in doing fine hobbies in colorful designs and floss. Hobbies such as these give you peace, clean and healthy mind. Keep up your crafting lovely ladies and I am waiting here in NEW Zealand for your next video and am a new subscriber. Hope Madison recovers to a full health. Look forward to seeing you. Greetings from NZ. PS. I love your dogs, and am an animal lover. Would be wonderful to see you both crafting with your 🐕 🐶
I love going live and stitch, with you both. It’s a great way to set aside time to commit to stitch, During the week day or night would be great. We had a Apollo dog, and his brother was Zeus. Sweet Schnauzers. Stay well.
Your so fortunate to have the stitching dug together. I don’t have any friends that stitch with so enjoy you hosting a stitch with us. Great video! Thank you!
You gals are such fun to watch! I think a live would be fun! I'm trying to learn to crochet also. I think I've figured it out enough to make dishcloths, which is my main objective. I also knit, quilt and papercraft, so I love seeing all the different things you are both working on. LOVE that "chemistry" quilt ... that's very creative!! I'm sure there were other things I was going to comment on, but I wasn't taking notes, and I ended up watching this is two different sittings, and my memory stinks, LOL Looking forward to future videos from you!! ~Katrina
Hello Girls Lovely to see you again and have a catch up. The stitching is brilliant but I love it that you show other crafts as well. The two of you together is really lovely so keep up the good work. Keep safe , keep well and we look forward to seeing you both soon. Love the journals . 👵 xx
Just found you two. Enjoying watching your floss tube and will be going back to look through past videos. Would love a stitch along. Weekends are the best. love photo booth!
Hi just came across your floss tube. Love all your projects. And thanks for DMC conversion on Winter Rose Manor. I just bought pattern and will have look at your DMC colors .I was going to buy the colors callled for. Want to see and trying figure out cloth first in maybe 28 ct. I’m new cross stitch. So any higher hard to see.I also quilt love anything ocean since live near ocean.
So fun! Thanks for sharing...you both are so busy yet you accomplish so much!! Truly amazing.. I love the elephant on the shelf and the valentine quilt...is that a pattern? I have a valentine jelly roll...would love to make something similar...🩷
First time watching! I subscribed then immediately texted my daughter and said we should have a channel together too! Except for the fact that she just talks about crafting but I actually do it lol! Oh well! Sure, do the stitch along -can I suggest that you show a close-up of doing a pattern that has a lot of color changes? I’m not around anyone who cross stitches so I’m not sure how to tackle my new hands across the sea pattern. I love Laurie Holt’s yarn and I was on a tear for a while doing granny circles. It’s great but now I need to figure out how to connect them. Circles are not as straightforward in connecting as squares are.
Haha! I feel that happens to us, Madison just whips by me getting stuff done, I am so slow :) Oh gosh, I can hardly handle squares I can not imagine circles! I will put that idea on our list!
Just found you and really enjoyed your video. I’m impressed that Madison can make time to stitch when studying - when I was studying I had a family so there was no time for stitching but I reckon that being able to do so would bea great way to relax. Hope your health improves very soon! I love the interaction between the two of you, how lovely to be able to share your hobbies with each other. Happy crafting 😊
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed it. We love our Aida! It's easier to stitch on and we think it looks just as beautiful as linen. Madison is having a lot of fun stitching the Snow Village on that blue Aida.
This was sew much fun to watch! Beautiful projects! I enjoyed your friendship and laughter! That microscope quilt is fabulous! I need to go back and watch your previous videos.
I just found you both, can't wait to go back and catch up on past videos. I love the variety of your projects and that you are Aida stitchers as that is my preferred fabric as well. Madison, what fabric did you use for your Hawk Run Hollow? It is just beautiful! I hope that you continue to feel better, Madison. Oh my gosh, Bonnie, the science quilt is just amazing!! Thank you both for the inspiration!
Thank you so much for watching! Madison used Tuscan Sun 16ct for her Map of Hawk Run Hollow. She bought it from 123stitch.com. Thank you for the well wishes! Madison is already feel much better.

Hi! Thank you for watching! We are so glad you like Madison's Winter Rose Manor DMC conversions. It is a fun pattern to stitch, happy stitching!
I loved everything! Kudos for learning to crochet! 💝
It was easy for Madison, I am pretty sure my brain doesn't work right! Took me a bit.
So fun! Thanks for sharing...you both are so busy yet you accomplish so much!! Truly amazing..
I love the elephant on the shelf and the valentine quilt...is that a pattern? I have a valentine jelly roll...would love to make something similar...🩷
It was one I just sort of made up. I would imagine there might be one floating around youtube similar to it somewhere....thanks for watching!
Haha! I feel that happens to us, Madison just whips by me getting stuff done, I am so slow :)
Oh gosh, I can hardly handle squares I can not imagine circles!

You are so fun to watch and your stitching is beautiful. I am glad to see other Aida stitchers!! The Snow Village is cute!!!
Thank you! We are glad you enjoyed it. We love our Aida! It's easier to stitch on and we think it looks just as beautiful as linen. Madison is having a lot of fun stitching the Snow Village on that blue Aida.
You are #motherdaughtergoals. So fun to watch you both!

I just found your Flosstube as I was scrolling through RUclips. Loved your energy. I have subscribed and can't wait to watch more. Beautiful quilts too. My grandmother taught me how to crochet the squares when I was 10. I am doing a temperature chart from FQS. Your tree is so pretty. Is that your own design?
Thank you so much for joining us! I got the temp tree from Etsy. Just type in temperature tree on Etsy and it comes up. She did a nice job.
WIPs are beautiful. Great video. Happy stitching!

I just found your video and loved watching you two. I made sure to subscribe! I have Early American kitted up but I decided I need to finish my Farmhouse Christmas first since I also am doing that on 1 big piece.
Oh I am doing that one and it is so pretty!
Omg! I just found your floss tube…I adore it. ❤ Melanie Ham taught me to crochet…she was a beautiful soul that left us too early. From what I understand is, her videos have all been left up to help her small children.
Thanks for joining us! It is so helpful to have a good teacher.
Did you see where her husband was recognized during the Super Bowl for continuing her legacy of giving? 😮
@@kimkincaid5257 That was amazing!
