I think what you're doing is great. So many pubs / restaurants have closed down and too many towns and villages are like ghost towns. They need people like yourself who are able to do these things and try and bring some life back - James May bought a pub and so has big Jezza and probably a few others, so it's all positive. Good luck Martin, you can do it 😊

Having the right resources and amenities and getting community input on what they would like to have long term. People like to work somewhere they can grow as a person and have a healthy environment to work in :) A varied menu and comfortable feel and affordable cost is key to bringing in good foot traffic and international appeal. Appreciation of the past and present and feeling of community as well as history is also sometimes a draw. Practice makes perfect Martin :)
Hiya Martin, I believe I was one of the first if not the first to tell you to buy the Hendrewen, you will make this a fantastic place for locals and visiting tourists, you have put your faith into the Rhondda and the Rhondda will not let you down, it’s just what the top of the valley needs, well done my friend, I look forward to having a pint or two with you…. 🍻🍻😉😉
