It's a bloody good drumming song isn;t it. I'm glad you younger ones really dig the older rock and roll. You did well. The drumming was very similar to the song, most other people get a little lazy with that 1 and take shortcuts . Thank you.

I am a big fan of Jeff, he comes across as a stand out guy, and I religiously do his warm up every day.. I also grew up listening to Mitch Mitchell and fire and cross town traffic are some of my favourite tracks.. I also love Elvin Jones, who was one of Mitch’s biggest influences.
It pains me to say it therefore, that although all the beats are there (I think) which is pretty impressive.. there is no lilt/swing, that defines mitches playing. And Mitch would mix it up and try things, he was loose, at times sloppy, but I love that.. screw up as Mitch did, as it’s worth it to be exciting and creative, as much as you like because Mitch did in the pursuance of creativity (and Hendrix) they played ‘rock’ with a jazz ethos.. it’s obvious.. anyway It would be interesting to see what people think about that.. but I repeat I admire and follow Jeff for some time now and will continue..
Good point, but, let's face it, nobody could sound like Mitch. He was a one off, a true drumming legend, yet, sadly, so vastly under-appreciated.

Congrats on the new family member & growing . I remember trying to play this in 1969 on my first Rogers drum kit before I had any lessons. My Best friend said it sounded cool & I thought I did too.😂 Now I would like to play & record myself to hear if I made any progress & sound cool. Jimmy was one of my favorites.

Amazing. Tried to learn this song a lot but I just can’t get the 16th note triplets at 150 bpm or whatever it’s at. You made it look easy also just your groove in general was perfect

Really great drumming dude, I am trying to learn this one now but there is an awful lot going on and not over playing seems to be very difficult for me. My only criticism if you can call it that would be the snare though it sounds really good does not sound right for this song, but it may just be me.

Good cover but Mitch has a bunch more fills and snare in this song than what I heard. After playing RB did I learn to appreciate just godly Mitch was behind the kit which is no easy feat. Did good

If you're trying to duplicate the recording you're throwing an extra snare hit that doesn't match. It's also muddling the riff.
