- While in the Faroe Islands I captured a sheep using a netgun to test it's blood.

Forrest can you go in detail about wolves expansion in their old habitats in western europe?
In the Netherlands some idiots released mouflon sheep (native to rocky warm habitats in Cyprus, Armenië and the surrounding counties) to maintain the moor landscapes.
Now some see the species as native.
And whole groups been wiped out by wolves because ofcourse they dont have rocks to escape too.
Im trying to inform people about reindeers since they are native, keep moor landscapes from being invaded by other plants and they are resilient against wolves in our habitat.
Sadly reindeers are extinct here and nobody seems to know that they are native.
And that by releasing them we dont have to shoot wolves to protect our moores.
We need people to know this before wolves will once again go extinct in the Netherlands.

Faroese lamb along with the icelandic, is the tastiest lamb ive ever had, might be a bit biased as im mostly from Iceland, and the rest is from the Faroe😅 but jokes aside, iceland, faroe islands, new zealand, we island nations know how to raise sheep! though our sheep population has drastically lowered since the 70/80s where it capped at 891k sheep, now it has dropped below 415k, sadly some reasons for the loosing stock is, scrapie, farmers loosing their livestock in one go, and cant use the land for a long time.

Its interesting youre doing a part on the Faroese sheep, and not the thousands of whales the slaughter each year during "the grind"
That country is absolutely barbaric.
Im absolutely not taking away a peoples culture, but the obscene scale and destruction inflicted on the whale and porpoise population should absolutely be condemned on your channels. Expecially due to where the meat is sold to and the countrys that fund and back the Faroe islands in support of this practice.
