I now proclaim myself the patron saint of boob armor. Here's a GREAT follow-up video by Scholagladiatoria on the recent boob armor controversy with medieval artistic references as well as mentioning modern chest protectors: ruclips.net/video/sQi5Sq1hoGY/видео.html
"Someone: Makes up random facts or complains about armor" It's a good video, but honestly, I'm questioning the legitimacy of the claim that people are actually complaining about the armor, and that the anti-SJW crowd are just making up another imaginary target to complain about. I remember when Zero-Suit Samus' booty shorts costume was first shown for Super Smash Bros 4, and people were PISSED - not at the outfit, but that people could be mad about the outfit. People were posting blog posts and articles about "ackteuelli, here's hwy its practical in sphess" or whatever, and Metroid lore videos digging up the original source for the outfit from the SNES, or - oddly - pointing out that bikini Samus existed in the first game and something "worse" somehow makes it acceptable, for some reason? Tons of posts, tons of outrage over those dern femiNAZIS trying to censor the game and take away these costumes, and people just waiting to dump all these articles on those unsuspecting SJWs who dared to complain. But no one did. Not one. Nobody complained about the outfit. The worst was that the high-heel boots in the new costume looked silly and the old ones were better, that's it. It is very easy to rile up anti-feminists and the like with this kind of manufactured outrage nonsense, and this smells awfully similar. If someone tells you "omg teh SJWs r so maed" or similar, don't just take their word for it, actually try to find the other side of the "controversy". Sometimes it will, but often it doesn't exist.
@Unapologetically Patriotic I agree to this buuuut arguably, the slave outfit/scene is still a bit demeaning as a sort of "save the kidnapped/tied up lady" trope. Perhaps if it was Leia's personal choice to wear revealing clothing, that'd be different.
Tesla-Effect Muscles serve a purpose in battle. Boobs dont. Theyre only a hindrance. So thus for having a muscular chest design for intimidation is valid.

The problem is that Mandalorian Armor is made to defend against lasers or ballistics. While I don’t think it's necessarily dangerous but there's a reason boob kevlar isn't used.
@@wisemankugelmemicus1701 Ballistics would have a similar story as what Shad was talking about with blunt force impacts assuming that the armor is made out of a metal as strong as it is presented as in the Mandalorian. Mind you kevlar is made out of a synthetic fiber that looks about like wall insulation, so kevlar REALLY isn't an apt comparison to the unobtanium "beskar" metal presented in the show. But even so, all they did is make the armor more comfortable to the female wearer's body which is the same thing that the US army is doing IRL with their own armor, so if you want to bring up kevlar, actually yes, female military kevlar armor is built and designed differently than male kevlar armor even within the kevlar limitations. And blasters (they're not lasers) make the breast armor matter even less since they'll still just literally deflect off the beskar. So you don't have to worry about shock impact or anything of the sort whatsoever therefore I don't see how blasters are a point against breast armor.
I want someone like Tod's Workshop to test it out. Get a normal chestplate, then a boob plate of same thickness and see which one deals with hits better.
Just remember women in the armed forces have been asking for boob armor or rather plates made for a womans body for years. And they only recently got it.
Yeah, but the soldier isn't providing their own like Knights and other elite forces (those with metal plate armor, especially embellished armor) did. It's also the same armed services that insist weapons that suck in the desert (M4 family) are still viable weapons platforms for the combat zones we're in.
@@Mavairo rifle is fine. US military testing dusted the absolute shit out of a bunch of different kinds of rifles in 2007 (to the point where they admit it doesn't resemble reality) and the failure rate over 6000 rounds ranged from 0.2% (SCAR/416) to 1.2% for a bog standard M4. The fail rate for static rifles getting continuously dusted and never being even wiped down. As in even walking or holding the rifle would probably keep 'em clean.
Google "RMA female armor" for civilian-type ballistic armor for women. There's a slightly bigger curve than armor for dudes, but both have the same monolithic curve profile. And the 'boob armor' for the US military is sizing and cutout changes to accommodate boobs yes, but it still looks pretty fuckin' flat to me. Terminal ballistics and materials science demands that modern day ballistic armor is gonna look pretty much the same on the face that points towards the enemy, boobs or no.

Really, the "dent" at the cleavage of Bo-Katan's armor is little more than the Mandalorian hexagon that's at the center of most stylings of Mandalorian armor, a cultural fashionable thing. Mando has the exact same bit in the middle of his chest, and it's indented as well. Boba Fett has one, too.
It is called a kar’ta beskar, or “iron heart”, and is a traditional Mandalorian symbol. I found it interesting watching Clone Wars that the pacifist police have an empty space on their armour where a kar’ta beskar would fit but do not wear the piece itself, sort of a way of showing that the pacifist Mandalorians have lost their warrior spirit; their Iron Heart if you will.
Or that modem helmet look like nazi helmet when the reason it look thy way ir because it give better protection and better situational awareness during research
@APassersby Titties on armors is pointless for defense as he said in the video, a bulge to make space for women with bigger breasts totally necesary. Make that bulge look a bit more like actual breasts depends if the wearer wants to look sexier.
@APassersby That wasn't the point of using the codpiece as an example. It was merely to show that making breast armor was possible and would have infact happened if female warriors were prominent during that time
the compression armor does exist on the star wars universe. stormtrooper armor, while viewed as weak, is designed to spread the energy of a blaster shot equally throughout the part that was hit, knocking the trooper unconscious instead of dead. you can see this in episode IV in the opening scene as a few troopers are still moving when they fall after being shot. (please like this so he sees)
Well that explains why they armor are made out of literal plastic... still if the empire had entire planets why they dont grab atleast some very light metal instead of plastic for the troopers?
@@sebasblos1 its called plastoid not plastic, also metals are more expensive to use for empire's doctrine, and not all metal are good enough to replace plastoid, only the mandalorian steel are so good that every mandalorian warriors uses them, mandalorian steel can resist ligthsaber and receive like more than 10 blaster shots or a few heavy blaster shots on the armor and the warrior still alive and kicking, at most unconscious because of the force hitting them. however its extremely rare and only available in the mandalorian's home planet.

Medieval armor was designed for the wearer as well, because the closer you could get to form fitting the better it would protect and the easier it would be to move around in.
That’s the dumbest way of telling if something is practical or not. No, just because an actor wears something does not mean it was comfortable, and even if it’s comfortable for actors does not mean it would work in the real life situation it’s made to be representing. I get that boob armor is not sexist or scandalous but that’s such a stupid stance to take.
Counterpoint: The outfits that are worn by the actors during the scenes on “Hoth” during Empire Strikes Back looked cool but were actually not nearly warm enough on their own to keep the actors comfortable during the negative degree temperatures they were working in. They had to wear parkas over their costumes to stay warm between scenes.

Honestly, it doesn't seem harder to make this one then the male at all. For the fantasy ones with actual boob shape, then fine, that would take some skill but if you can make the male mando armor you can make the female too. But I a master armorer could basically make almost any armor you can imagine. Some of the female fantasy armor seems hard to move in though, having a plate corset seems impractical during combat.

Interesting note: According to the Knights of the Old Republic games, Mandalorian Armor is HEAVILY personalized by each Mandalorian warrior. And many such warriors were identified by their armor more so than anything else. That was part of the reason Revan used a Mandalorian mask. He was telling the Mandalorians 'I'm here! Revan has come!' If each Mandalorian customizes their armor in their own way, it's only logical that a female Mandalorian would in turn customize her armor in the way she wants. Problem solved. Also, I agree with Shad... the female Mandalorian armor is very subtle in its femininity. Nothing to see here except attention seekers.
You assume that anyone complaining about boobs watch the shows they complain about besides some screenshots, much less they will even know what KotoR means.
@Sidney J. Duffy True, they perfectly know they never had an argument. From the start they know two things: 1.- They are backed by every single corporation. 2.- There's so many idiots on the planet that you will be always able to recruit some and turn them into useful idiots. -That's why the Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebells said " Always lie, accuse others of what you are guilty yourself". As long the average human is a willing ignorant that will believe any lie as long is what they want to hear, Lying will be always the most effective strategy.
The feminist argument against this (their arguments are extremely easy to predict, even though none of them are new and all rely on their fallacious post-3rd-wave/4th wave feminist theory) is that all the writers and artists are dirty horny men and lonely nerds who just want to ogle some bewbs and the female form and therefore design and write things to the male gaze thereby objectifying them, and that no woman would customize her amour in this way according to her female form and would instead choose to present themselves the way they (the feminist) see's fit.
11:05 "Too difficult to make" They literally have spaceships with hyperdrives that enable FTL travel and there are people saying it would be too difficult to manufacture specialised armour. WTF
"We can fabricate space stations as large as legit spherical moons, that can travel around the galaxy, and blow up planets with a frickin' laser beam. What's that? You want contoured armor? That's crazy talk!"
no they do not travel at light speed. THEY BEND THE FUCKING FABRIC OF SPACE TO BRING THE DESTINATION CLOSER. THIS IS HARDER THAN TRAVELLING AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT.
Another important argument is the fact that the mandalorians carried their armors down to the next generation and the next generation then made changes according to their needs. (Probably) All Armors of Mandalorians are individualized for their wearer.
I agree with this video. I'd like to point out that historically, a person's anomatical proportions had to be measured for a person to fit a suit of armor, regardless of gender. Joan of Arc, like males of the time period, had armor designed specifically for her size.
just to mention, in Star Wars they either have vibro blades, blasters, or lightsabers, there is very very few armors that can withstand either of those melee weapons and I don't think blasters really care about the shape of your armor other than it either just going through it or being absorbed.
@@nerp1120 Shape of the armor is for comfort and maneuverability, no one is arguing the round boob armor is needed to deflect projectiles. And Beskar, the metal mando armor is made from, can withstand all those weapons in cannon.
I completely agree with the people in this thread but would they have shaped Vibro-Armor the only armor that can withstand them by vibrating at intense speeds(seen on Snokes guard)
It would be sexist to have armor designed for women *not* be designed for their anatomy. Conclusion: Anita Sarkeesian (however you spell her name) is infact sexist against women.
Triumph263 yeah, like compressing your boobs hurts (as an afab individual). Idk if it’s the same for other genders but if you have felt that you know that it’s bad. Like, why should we not show our boobs or an outline of them if it’s literally more comfortable? Yeah sure if it’s super overly stylized and makes your chest a prominent feature that’s overkill but if you’re not trying to sexualize the afab person in question, what’s the harm in making it more comfortable????? Like some people wear spandex because it’s more form fitting and easier to wear for them, is it sexist because it makes the person’s features more obvious? No! It’s just how they wear stuff. I actually love this style of armour. It's a perfect mix of being subtle and practical while still making it clear that a woman is under it. Plus, the different type of visor adds just a small amount of 'feminine curves' to the overall look.
“The armor I wear is five hundred years old. I reforged it to my liking, but the battles, the history, the blood all lives within it. And the same goes for every Mandalorian." This was the first thing you see on the Wookieepedia for mando’a armor
I have never worn armor but as a woman with breasts on the larger side I can hypothesize that that slight indent in the middle of the female mandalorian breastplate would not only be for style but comfort and fit. Anything that squisheds them into a uni-boob stretches the outside of the breast and causes extra pressure on them. Having even that little indent helps them to sit more naturally, comfortably, and by letting the armor support the breasts may allow for better padding and shock absorption underneath the breastplate.
I mean if you deflect the blow towards the stomach it's not the best idea, but the armor is made of some super-material last I checked so it doesn't matter as much as it would with real armor
Exactly. And as a person that comes about as close as you can get to a real life Mandalorian, I can say we know what we're doing. Don't question the way of the Mandalorians. The Mandos have been in the business of making armor to fit and protect themselves literally for thousands of years. Mandalorians are also the most accepting, diverse, united society in all of Star Wars and maybe even real life, so nobody has the right to call our armor sexist or anything else. If people think the armor is sexist, they don't know anything about Mandalorians. There is little to no distinction between gender in the language or culture.
Wait, didnt Bo Katan say that the armor was in her family for four generations? Is old armor adjusted, or do they go through the accumulated mass of armor, worn by past generations, to find something that fits?
@@ABW941 If i recall, season 1 showed that old Beskar armor is melted down and remade after the wearers' death to fit a future wearer, so theoretically a family can wear the literal same chunk of Beskar for generations, but just have each next generation melt it down to reshape it. So there's a pretty decent chance that most Mandalorians are wearing armor that's been used and reshaped several times already. Pretty much the only way to make recycling look badass.
@@joshuakim5240 I see this as the most likely answer, because (Spoilers for Clone Wars): Jango Fett's helmet was destroyed in an attempt to assassinate Mace Windu, so in order for Boba to inherit the armour there would no doubt be adjustments and repairs made. It doesn't seem like a stretch to assume the same for other Mandalorians, as Boba also says the armour belonged to his father despite these changes.
TL;DW: Women have different chests than men, accommodations must be met. I'm genuinely surprised people are upset about this. Honestly please get over yourselves.
So I'm between a DD and a DDD. I'm also an accomplished costume designer for historical costumes. I physically can not fit into any historical armour as is with my bust size. Even with binding my chest. It is impossible and WILDLY painful. It also impedes movement because you compensate for the uncomfortable pressure. I worked with someone who does historically accurate armour, and we had to fashion it to accommodate my size. I do first models on myself because if it can work for me it can pretty much work for anyone. I am short and I have a smaller waist. Making stuff that essentially just allows room, doesn't really work. It's so much more bulky on a female form and it can add weird pressure spots in places that aren't designed to withstand it- even without a blow. To some extent if you have a figure like mine, it will show up in that armour no matter what bc it has to for functionality. Boobs and hips make things look like they have.... boobs and hips. Trying to cover that up past a certain point creates far more problems than it helps.
you are making an important mistake: they dont care about logic or facts or common sense. Those are the same people who say 2+2=5, Yes i am not joking. You cant convince those people.
Isn’t mandolorian armor designed to fit the wearer properly? When the armor was made it was made to fit the specific boby that was in it for maximum comfort and maneuverability. Mandos are like the least sexual culture in Star Wars.
I forgot all about that scene in The Mandalorian when he's repairing his armor and we see the circuitry. Inertial dampening properties makes sense especially when we see him getting those tremendous hits or falling from great heights that should kill him. I think the fall from the Sandcrawler and his armor is having electrical short discharges proves this theory. Great catch Shad.👍
"It's honestly just people trying to get attention in my opinion." *standing ovation* Thank you, sir! And another *big* thanks for being willing to reiterate what your female fans have commented about being large breasted. I'm one of those that is no slouch in that department and let me tell you, I never would have thought to even question the female Mandalorian armor, because it just looks like it fits *properly.* So well done, in fact, that I didn't even consciously notice it, and that's how it *should* be. I can't believe this even became an argument. 🤦♀️ Another thing I'd like to mention is that *not everyone* who is large breasted wants to accentuate it, but sometimes comfort and/or modesty overrides ones ability to hide it. (I.E: Bras, which both accentuate the overall shape and also help cover the headlights, and are *also* a double-edged sword when it comes to comfort.)
There many people out there who try to exaggerate small things. They get offended by the smallest of things. Just because a movie shows boob armour doesn't mean they're sexists, as a matter of fact it isn't even there for accentuaing the bust. It's there for practical reasons. Do you really wanna wear armour that constantly presses against your chest? Even shad's armour which he wear in the video has space as mentioned by him. But that's just how some people are, it just needs one person to point it out and others would start dogpilling and accusing without any proper argument. Right? Since when was there ever personalized armor? Even by one's own request? Certainly no royal such as Bo Katan has had armor made specifically for them, and they'll wear just whatever their troops wear.
It depend on the time period. Medieval Breastplate already has space for boobs as it have sizable indent designed to deflect warhammers and maces (in short, they are unisex). Designer boobs plates not only decrees resistance of such armor, but especially as most medieval equipment was relatively poor quality. If something like that was made, it was usually for someone rich and as equivalent to equivale ridiculous dong armor. But in case of future SF? Is that even part of the debate? Those armors were designed to take hits from ranged weapons, especially such based on plasma bolts. Yes, swords actually were used in SW, but they also did utilized energetic properties. As such female Mando armor didn't need take hits, but a heat. Literal heat. In such case shape is less relevant.

Doesn't settle it because the original argument came from a female (Anita). However, your point *would* be a good one if ya change it to have a female wear men's clothing. Armor/uniforms are best when form-fitting so having gear that would be baggy/spacious in the crotch area would be very uncomfortable. And shut Anita up on why gear made for females are different.
A lot of male pants don't seem too far off these days, though. Seriously, I went to go buy some new pants and am really hating the skinny leg fashion that seems to have taken over.
@@pumpjackmcgee4267 I know that feel. If I don't get "relaxed fit" jeans these days, me nuts are some very sad boys. Not to mention you can't work, run, sit, or do anything else besides stand there and look "cool" wearing them. And if you want to carry your phone, keys, wallet, knife, you're pretty much screwed.
This sounds like celebrities complaining about corsets. Armor and corsets and bras and CLOTHING ITSELF is SUPPOSE TO FIT THE PERSON WEARING IT. Corsets were made to the person wearing it. The armor is made to the soldier wearing it. Bras aren’t made to the wearer because we apparently don’t do it anymore. People complain about not having clothing that fits them anymore, but we don’t hand make all our clothes anymore. We don’t have tailor made pants and shirts and coats and shoes anymore because it’s expensive, and we’d rather have something cheep than something durable. It’s really a cry against fast fashion and cheep labor.
Thank you, everyone seems to ignore the fact that corsets existed. I mean, they were sort of a female armor anyway, and women wore them for centuries until the progressive movement happened.
@Hope The progressive movement back then was hijacked by men who wanted to wreck the fashion industry, a place where women could shine back then. We had 'doctors" constantly talking about the "harmful" effects of corsets. The debate progressed until we just decided "corset bad". Female workers who broke their backs for like 10 hours a day never had a problem with their own corsets, so I don't know why we ever trusted these "doctors". These are the same guys who thought the uterus could fly out of somebody and drive a car, so humanity is just very gullible at times.
Beskar'gam (Mandalorian Armour) tends to be a powered armor on most occasions with several adjustments for assisting movement on some cases or powering weapon attachments, jet packs, targeting software, range finding wear, and other things. Inertial dampeners shouldn't be that far or a stretch. It also provides protection from energy projection weapons and light sabers if made from actual beskar (mandalorian iron). Sorry for the nerd out, but I didn't see this in the comments when I found this video.
I’ve been waiting for this comment. Most people just overlook the fact the they’re armor is made specifically for the person wearing it and it gives them the most comfort and protection. Finally someone said it. Thank you

@Greg Elchert well... legitimit.... Mandalorians normaly (at least in legends) dont have a Ruler. Only in War is a Mandalor elected. part of the reason is Hollywood's depiction of armor: when a knight in full armor could go down instantly by a mere sword cut, then it's natural for people (who don't know any better) to think you need to deflect the hit to have a chance to survive, instead of just taking it as an armor should..
@@oldrabbit8290 ...as he said...ignorance is no excuse. If someone honestly believes Hollywood's depiction of things is realistic...then they are ignorant...and gullible...possibly braindead...I could go on for a while...
"Lesson: don't get angry just because you're ignorant" This goes both ways, btw - don't get super riled up because someone tells you that someone else is angry. Having not really been following anything regarding Star Wars for a while, maybe it's real and I just haven't seen it, but the "complaints" about the armor itself sound a lot like many other cases in the gaming world where people rush to defend whatever character outfit they want to "protect from censorship" or something from the "whining SJWs" or whatever. Only, said SJWs often tend not to exist. Are there _actually_ people complaining about boob armor in The Mandalorian? Or are there just people who saw said boob armor, thought "omg the SJWs are going to be so triggered lol", and then went off to the internet to make preemptive complaints about the presumably inevitable backlash from "SJWs" to all their friends, who read those posts as, "there are SJWs complaining about this" and the confirmation bias just builds from there without any real complaints from the other side? Because this happens constantly. Happened with Doom: Eternal, Cuphead, Samus' booty-shorts costume in Super Smash Bros, etc. So yes, don't get angry just because you're ignorant, and that includes being angry at a vague group of people you were told totally exists by other people who dislike them rather than responding directly to said people, assuming they do actually exist.
@@Pearg0ld - ... You don't know what the term "projection" means, lol. Pointing out the similarity between this situation and others is not projection.
Not an argument against it, but looking at that picture of Bo Katan that you used, and you mentioned neck armor (forgot the name already) made me realize a design flaw... if a blaster bolt were to hit the top slope of her armor, the angle of deflection would then cause that bolt to shoot straight to her neck or under her chin, and we have already been shown that their helmets dont have any lips underneath, they are basically buckets as far as shape goes.

Trying not to sound pervy, but what size bra do you wear, one aspect of the discussion I am not seeing is the overall shift in bust size in the modern era, for example I remember reading some time back about how the average bust in America is now a B cup, whereas in Europe the average is an A cup. And if in period with a lower fat diet, and far more physical activity, The average female would tend to have smaller busts so not as much accommodation would be needed, however averages are just that and we have outliers on the side that would need more room, and case in point Katee Sackoff has good sized breasts for her frame size (34b) and since the armour is rather form fitting, some room had to be made for her comfort. It's a good video, but honestly, I'm questioning the legitimacy of the claim that people are actually complaining about the armor, and that the anti-SJW crowd are just making up another imaginary target to complain about.

One minor thing to add: every individual piece of Mandalorian armor is customized. No two sets are perfectly alike.
Medieval armor was designed for the wearer as well, because the closer you could get to form fitting the better it would protect and the easier it would be to move around in.
Not only that, but Mandalorian armor is an heirloom, passed from generation to generation and reforged to each new bearer.
mandalorian armor in legends also tends to be very durable, even to the lightsabers , so i guess it can affect the final look of the armor
For the vast majority of Mandalorian Armor. There are sets that are what you would call ancestral that might get dorned by a clan member on occasion

the funny thing is that unlike most fantasy depictions, actors actually had to wear this stuff, so presumably it wasn't uncomfortable
To be fair, Stormtrooper armor wasn't terribly ergonomic, so if it wasn't comfortable, the actors bit the bullet for their job
@@baitposter If I remember correctly, the "I can't see a thing out of this helmet" line was said when Mark Hamill didn't know the camera was rolling.
@@baitposter but also to be fair, in cannon stormtrooper armor isnt comfortable for the actual troopers either...it's not like each suit was custom fit per person...Like Rex literally talks about hoe garbage storm trooper gear is in comparison to the mk2 clone trooper armour, heck its still worse than mk1 clone trooper armour and in cannon that armour was really stiff to move around in

@@loke6664 to be fair though the male armour in those same fantasy games often paralyses the wearer's entire torso with the way they arrange the plates. It's all in good fun.

Interesting note: According to the Knights of the Old Republic games, Mandalorian Armor is HEAVILY personalized by each Mandalorian warrior. If each Mandalorian customizes their armor in their own way, it's only logical that a female Mandalorian would in turn customize her armor in the way she wants. Problem solved.

Why is everything having to do with afab people and their breasts sexist? It’s a part of people. Comfortable and tactically sound armor shouldn’t be controversial???

I have never worn armor but as a woman with breasts on the larger side I can hypothesize that that slight indent in the middle of the female mandalorian breastplate would not only be for style but comfort and fit. Anything that squisheds them into a uni-boob stretches the outside of the breast and causes extra pressure on them. Having even that little indent helps them to sit more naturally, comfortably, and by letting the armor support the breasts may allow for better padding and shock absorption underneath the breastplate.

The Mandos have been in the business of making armor to fit and protect themselves literally for thousands of years. Mandalorians are also the most accepting, diverse, united society in all of Star Wars and maybe even real life, so nobody has the right to call our armor sexist or anything else. @@joshuakim5240 I see this as the most likely answer, because (Spoilers for Clone Wars):

Female workers who broke their backs for like 10 hours a day never had a problem with their own corsets, so I don't know why we ever trusted these "doctors". These are the same guys who thought the uterus could fly out of somebody and drive a car, so humanity is just very gullible at times.
@@yorukaadams940 God I love that comment.
@@yorukaadams940 I completely agree with you, I'm sorry if that didn't come across in my comment. Do you watch the historical costuming community too?
Beskar'gam (Mandalorian Armour) tends to be a powered armor on most occasions with several adjustments for assisting movement on some cases or powering weapon attachments, jet packs, targeting software, range finding wear, and other things. Inertial dampeners shouldn't be that far or a stretch. It also provides protection from energy projection weapons and light sabers if made from actual beskar (mandalorian iron). Sorry for the nerd out, but I didn't see this in the comments when I found this video.
Let's not forget every Mando's armor is made for the Mando personally..
I’ve been waiting for this comment. Most people just overlook the fact the they’re armor is made specifically for the person wearing it and it gives them the most comfort and protection. Finally someone said it. Thank you
@@enrickeporras1448 I mean, they literaly wear it all their life... their culture is based around it...
“Personality”
@@andrewhenderson9593 no, personaly. It's suiting their body snd not their personality.
The paintjob is what mirrors their affiliation and personality.
@Greg Elchert well... legitimit.... Mandalorians normaly (at least in legends) dont have a Ruler. Only in War is a Mandalor elected. Often from strong houses, but basicly every Mandalorian can be chosen to be the Mandalor.
But Bo Katan is the head and leader of Clan Kryze, she inherited her Armor, which probably still is modified to fit her.
can you imagine Shads neighbors just hearing him yell "IS THERE A BULGE" from his studio lmao
😂😂😂
Or when Shad’s lady walks in on him looking up the codpieces and schlong armor pics for his newest video, and says, “well, if it were anyone else I would worry”.
Shad built a castle section in his back yard and he plays around with wooden swords while talking at a camera His neighbors already think he is weird and have for a long time.
@@mattheww.6232 these are newer neighbors though 🤔 I'm waiting for him to get a horse to ride around the neighborhood in full armor
@@Cz82 Good idea for a future video. Shad learns to ride a horse to explore effective and innefective mounted weaponry.
Lesson: don't get angry just because you're ignorant.
part of the reason is Hollywood's depiction of armor: when a knight in full armor could go down instantly by a mere sword cut, then it's natural for people (who don't know any better) to think you need to deflect the hit to have a chance to survive, instead of just taking it as an armor should..
@@oldrabbit8290 ...as he said...ignorance is no excuse. If someone honestly believes Hollywood's depiction of things is realistic...then they are ignorant...and gullible...possibly braindead...I could go on for a while...
"Lesson: don't get angry just because you're ignorant"
This goes both ways, btw - don't get super riled up because someone tells you that someone else is angry.
@@KingBobXVI you're projecting so hard Hollywood would use you for their theaters
Someone: Complains about armor without an argument or reasoning.
Shad: Aww s***, here we go again
It is also worth noting that a Mandalorian's armor was typically custom made to its wearer, I believe.
like all good armor should?
People on Twitter are idiots
It was also passed down, so some tailoring and modification would happen as well.
@@p_serdiuk i thought they forged them with their family according to star wars lore. (And yeah an armour is made to be properly tailored, otherwise it is not as efficient)
@@tigerbesteverything It was passed down family armor many times, but im pretty sure in lore they reforge it using the same materials for each user.

Expertise is just a part of the recipe. Entertaining and educational delivery are important too.
Because Shad actually researches stuff and makes intelligent theories instead of going about spewing nonsense.

Cite for size

The article I read stating the average breast size for America was before 2010 so it looked like things have changed since then.

@@russellsmith3825 Some people who do have a good diet and workout sometimes already have larger breasts, that argument doesn’t work overall.
@@thecouncil2056 if you read the studies regarding average bust size in America THEY say that the average is skewed because of obesity. Edit to add, my source is directly above your comment.
All I got to say is people need to look at modern ballistic armor. Armor in star wars is for deflecting blaster fire not for deflecting swords. www.pinterest.com/pin/443886107005197349/
