The wash plant doesn’t have to be perpendicular to the excavator, it can be parallel to it so you can more easily connect the truck and easily move it forward as you dig.
Well its interesting you ask if most people do what you are doing? Well most people completely skip ter2 because you lose so much pay dirt from it. But from time to time its fun to watch. Most people go from ter1.5 to ter3 or 3.5. But play as you wish man. Its all good. 😊
What I would do is put the wash plant and then move along in a long long line on one side of it and then move it to where it’s at the end of that thing and then another long line
What if you took your wash plant and turned it 90 degrees. So it was in line with your tracks on your excavator. Then you’d just have to pull it forward with your truck once you’ve extended your moat. And move your tables to the side closest to the trailer.. might work for an easier moving strategy
