Workers that specialise on the s-DJ sluice box will allow you to put spare mats in the holders and they will change them out when the are full. That said also a worker on the hog pan sluice boxes will do the same.😊

Great series!!! I am in the middle of drilling and I am enjoying it! I have drilled for over 800 oz. of gold nuggets. Can't wait to set up tier 3 so I can get all the gold from this plot. I am thinking I will get over 1200 oz. from here.
a little tip for when you are drilling a claim. if you get a 10 oz or bigger nugget in a square drill out the whole square. i normally do 9 drills and you usually get 3 or more additional nuggets from the same square for around 40 oz. when i drilled out old arnold i got a little over 1200 oz of gold. i am about 3/4 of the way done drilling river town and i am already at 1400 oz of gold.
I hope your next purchase will be the belt and hopper and big generator too make life easier. After that you can do one of two things. You have been doing things a little out of order (which is fun to watch), but i would suggest going to get the derocker, or (since you have the water tower which is a must) you can go for the GlacierCreek. I know the glaciercreek is very expensive but the return on gold is almost like 40% more compared to the shacker. The shacker upgrades are your most profitable upgrades to your plant, that's why they are the most expensive. After that the tromal upgrades affect how much you get in your mats (not the hog mats). And the jig upgrades just affect the buckets that are under them (please please never get the T4 jigs, skip them. They are large, hard to work with expensive and not much % increase from it. Just go from T3 to T5 when it comes to the jigs). Hope this helps you out. Most people never even buy this claim and just rent the next one and move on as fast as possible, then start upgrading to complete T4 with T3 jigs or if ambitious get the T5 jigs. Then right after rent the next claim and move on and then upgrade to full T5. From there they rent the next claim set up shop then after a while buy it. Then rest while mining until they have enough to rent out the last claim and move there. Then it's off the the races 🏁 to get the new T6 and buy the claim and race to clean it out. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone ever cleaning out WF yet. That claim is massive. Maybe you can be the 1st ?🙏🤷♂️
It’s funny when I first started playing this game the Ute (truck) was parked on old Arnold’s parcel half way up a mound of dirt to stop it from rolling around. 😝
i littarly re downloaded hydroneer last week XD iv played it a few times but i always get to teir 2 setup on usualy the ice area then get bored float to a diffrent game then not play for months then re download and re start for whatever reason
My way is actually faster still. Lol. No box needed. Also never trust the boxes with your gold. I've seen the mats disappear into the ground never to be found again and or shoot off into space never to be found again.
Lol you don't get a choice on your employees 🤣 they just show up with there skills and if they are what you want you hire them. But if you train them to L3 you can retrain the to what ever you want
Oh they will never remove those. They have them there so you can't take the equipment off the claims. Each claim has them or something close to it. They did remove a small rock 🪨 that was there that everyone hit and got stuck on. But they won't remove anymore unfortunately.

What a lot of people want that is added to the game, is a co-op option....that would make it a lot more fun.
Those extra storage slots for buckets and mats on the sides of the sluices are unlocked via workers

Remember the best gold is usually at the bottom of the claim

That lost gold in those mats is like .5 of a oz. Those hog pans are mostly there for magnetite.
There is a way to put more buckets there but you need the employee to do it. Same with the mats
I would like to see "head tracking" put into the game. So that you can operate 1st person (inside the cab) versus 3rd person (outside the cab).
That 10 days till summer is just a glitch it’ll fix itself later
