I rather think it's the personal's personality that is most entertaining. I can watch someone I enjoy play practically anything. You have a good personality, fun to watch. I don't play much interloper, I did when i first started playing around 2017. So much has changed since then the last 3 playthroughs I have done voyageur and I'm exploring the maps i don't know well. All 3 of those playthroughs i started in PV then went to TWM for the loot
@@shivx1 I appreciate that! That’s the main thing I look for in let’s plays too, and I enjoy lots of different personalities. Sometimes I play voyager just so I can focus on exploration. That’s a ton of fun too. But I have this terrible compulsion of picking up everything, so voyager is like hard mode for me!
@@shivx1 That’s what I do too. I start off thinking “this will make a good main base” and begin setting up. Then I realize the same thing happens in every region haha. There’s something very cozy about that, though.
@@briansnediker8192 it’s been exciting to watch the game develop since way back when, hasn’t it? Thanks for the comment! Two is up now and three will be up on Monday. I’m hoping for 2 to 3 a week :)
@@daveh4106 Excellent! Whenever I come back to Ash Canyon I’ll definitely check it out. What do you think makes a better base: miner’s folly or the retreat?
@ConatusGames Miner's Folly has Borris, ptarmigan, a moose and wolves so plenty of meat if cooking level 5. Only problem is scurvy. Route from Folly to Respit is easy plus has a cave and rope bridge to - high meadows I think? Deer and rabbit as well.
@@daveh4106 i checked out that area last night, actually. Really cool! Between the two spots you have everything you need. I might do an about face and head to respite instead of going down out the back of the mine. If I don’t head to summit quite yet (not sure I want to without a hacksaw), then it’s not important to end up at deer clearing.
@@daveh4106 absolutely. I use them to get well-fed early and a lot of the time I have tons left by the time I’m done in AC. I know a lot of people don’t like FM, but it’s actually one of my favorite spawns just for cattails.

@@ConatusGames I have to leave alot of stuff in a region base because there is too much to cart around rn heh

Love the video! Excited to see the next one. Been playing TLD since around the initial release as well

The cabin you see at 23:00 is something Retreat. It is the opposite direction from Gold Mine when at Miner's Folly. There is also a goat up.

Cat tails are excellent - don't stink or go bad, light wt per calorie, lots to stockpile in AC before climbing up or in FM before forging.
