Three boxes of matches, ski jacket, cook pot, sewing kit, and 2 arrow heads at Angler's Den on Interloper?! I don't think I have ever found that many matches on Interloper, anywhere. That would be a pretty amazing start to a run.
If you fully loot TWM and AC you should find at least 5-6 boxes and most of them are a fixed spawn. The arrowheads are a fixed spawn in anglers as well.
Loved the series. I've not played The Long Dark In close to 10 years myself. But you rode the condition line a but to close to comfort with the Interloper difficulty. Seemed like you were just on the cusp of full on mastery.
RIP. This is why you never try to shoot a wolf head on at low HP on Interloper. No matter how good your aim is, all it takes is shooting slightly too high and you're dead.
@@windflier1684 Wolfs are a joke in this game though. All you do is just walk away soon as they spot you and they just follow like good pups! Minus the growling :p
If you continue this series, I'd try to go to Forsaken Airfield, the Handheld Shortwave is how you can interact with the repaired Radio towers, but it can only be found there! No spoilers though, besides that it's worth it for the loot alone c:

It's such a shame, it's such a fun game! But, it can be hard to make interesting content for those that aren't part of the TLD community, by playing TLD.
Funny seeing you play this game because I decided a couple days ago to give this game another go after rage quitting years back. Died 3 times but finally got to a decent point on the highway

Hey, Lime- thanks for bringing us this enjoyable content. Next time you try to play this, remember you *must* be at full health and with decent protective gear in order to tango with wolves, much less bears and moose. I look forward to your next attempt- maybe on a level lower =)

It's literally a mix between being a chill game and horror game It's chill when you're at home making tea ,cooking food, reading a book, crafting/fixing things And horror game when you're out there with no energy, freezing to death , while 3 wolves are chasing you as you trying to find a freaking shelter Then chill again after finding that shelter

So im only 2 and a half hours in by why does this person NEVER eat his hunger bar at the bottom is always so low if you see this can you explain this too me Thanks
its a way of saving food. OG long dark players used to starve themselves during the day and eat only at night to recover condition and preserve food. with the well fed bonus in the game now though its a lot less common but still a good trick for extending rations
the reason it works is because you only lose 1% condition per hour when you starve but you make more than that back by sleeping for long periods of time
This^ Starvation tactics are important when food is scarce, you will heal up overnight more than the damage you take from the hunger during the day, so eat one meal before you sleep and then starve for the rest of the day. Once he has a weapon to hunt he'll likely stop doing this, Well Fed giving more carrying capacity makes it worth eating your fill always.

Starvation Tactics, Eat before bed to heal the damage you took over the day by starving, then starve through the day to ration out and conserve your food, it's easy to run through all of your food in no time in this game on Interloper.

I mean aglers den is just kind of cracked on interloper. I always find two boxes of maches there and the arrow heads are a fixed spawn.
Angler's always spawns at least one box of matches, but it can spawn two or three. It just comes down to chance
that first wolf you ran into and you JERKED your mouse was so funny. im in for a long ride watching this video but its already amazing!!

The long dark is such a cozy game, if you want, a super hard survival experience. Love to play it with headphones, on switch in bed.
Fr i want to buy it so much
me too!! currently playing it while i watch this lol
The OST of the long dark alone makes it one of my favourite games, never mind the stunning art style and gameplay

Definitely gotta get used to death, it's hard at times but still fun and imo the earlygame is fun/addicting enough I won't be too upset about Death
On Stalker you should never leave safety at less than 50% health, most animal attacks do 50-75% damage.
Bears always do 90% unless you’re under 11% condition, in which case, you take a shadow nap 💤
