    Great job. In the first sketch, the distance should be 90 mm in order to maintain 75 mm between the centre points, and also the 35 mm is from the cone centre point

    2:34 you don't need to resketch that circle, all you need is left click the arrow of exstrusion1 and then right click sketch and pick visible to show your drawing from before extrusion.

    Hi! There is an incorrect dimension at 8:16. The width of the rectangle according to the drawing is not 35 mm, but 12,5 mm. I just thought I share my remark to this. Keep up the good work, I like your channel.

      There is also a similar mistake at 1:37. The length is 75 plus 15 mm. 75 only reaches to the center point of the cut extrusion

    • @TornadoDIgitals
      @TornadoDIgitals 5 лет назад

      and also another mistake: the bridge between the cilinder and half cilinder is not a parallelepiped, but a trapezoid.
      The linkes are not horizontal as in 3:40

    From the top view, the part which connects the cylinder and magnet looking part should look like a downward pyramid instead u drew it in a rectangle shape which I think should be wrong.

    I am using inventor 2020 for the 1st time, trying to learn, but when drawing a line then holding the left mouse key to create the circle my center point wants to stay on the last line I was on. Not sure what I am doing wrong if you have any suggestions that would be great. I have to learn this in a week for a job interview.

    • @solarwinds-
      @solarwinds- 2 года назад

      I had the same problem. When you draw your line, then go back to get the end of the line again to start your arc, drag your mouse like you're drawing the arc itself. Don't drag our mouse straight down or across, drag your mouse like your drawing the arc or circle.

    My guy I think you made many mistakes here. It's 75mm to the center of the smaller circle. And the 10mm thick block you made is tapered as in it goes from the center of the big circle to the center odd the smaller circle. I'm not to sure how to explain this to you with words but can prob show you once I complete the drawing.

  • @edwardpaulsen1074
    @edwardpaulsen1074 5 лет назад +3

    While it was helpful to learn a few new commands, it is a shame that your model does *NOT* match the drawing accurately... The 75mm for the forward fork length is measured from the center of the main cylinder axis to the center of the fork radius... thus your model is too short in the forks. Then the back "clamping" section is 35mm from the center of the main cylinder to the centerline of the 'X' axis through hole (or the tangent of the outer arc endpoint)... I corrected those errors and my model now matches the actual drawing whereas yours is essentially a "scrap" part, until you adjust your dimensions properly....
