Totally. Too bad they didn't release any live album from this era. The band was on fire on the 80s and 90s, then the 2000s came and they went downhill
i was in Cascais in 18/03/1994 that mythical place has already been demolished. it was my first concert in my life, I was alone I took the train and I had a blast I smoked a joint before the concert I was 18 years old that time, God what a night

I saw them in Warsaw. I must say they had the best sound system I’d ever heard before. The sound was loud, but very selective.

Manowar - quite possibly, the cheesiest band in metal. 😆
I was never a fan but can fully understand why they’d be popular, especially amongst American & German audiences. Wonder if they handed out ear plugs to their fans as they made the world record attempt?
Ps. Big surprise about this clip is seeing the Manowar fan club is based in my home city of Leeds, UK.
I was in Hannover (Germany) on this tour and yes, they did 🙂, the record (official with guinnes book of wr, and the thing with ear plugs. The record was made without audience...........
Hello, I respect your opinion, but I disagree with you. I think Manowar is not cheesy, but true metal. Here are some reasons why:
• Manowar is one of the pioneers of power metal, a subgenre of heavy metal that emphasizes speed, melody and epic themes. They have influenced many other bands in the genre, such as Blind Guardian, HammerFall and Rhapsody of Fire.
• Manowar is known for their powerful and passionate vocals, especially by their lead singer Eric Adams, who can hit high notes and sing with emotion. They also have skilled musicians, such as Joey DeMaio, who plays the bass guitar like a lead guitar and can perform complex solos.
• Manowar is dedicated to their fans, whom they call "brothers and sisters of metal". They have a loyal fan base around the world, especially in Europe, where they often headline festivals and play long shows. They also hold the Guinness World Record for the loudest performance ever, which they achieved in 1984 and 1994.
So, I think Manowar is not cheesy, but true metal. They have a unique style, a rich history and a strong connection with their fans.
@@summonersummoner9536 Thanks. Manowar have a very loyal fan base. They’re still popular today after decades in the industry so you have to respect them.
Some of their stage costumes are a outlandish and over the top, which is why I labelled them cheesy.
They are a good band and deserve their place in metal history.
@@MrCol104 Their costumes have been leather vests and leather pants since 1994. Nothing outlandish or over the top about that.

Remember the fan club in Leeds. Bought a t - shirt with the text "Manowar Army of Immortals" still using it when l see Manowar. Last time in Oslo 22.02.
