For example, if you want to use a Buster Art -> Dial Storage Smash Art kill confirm, you don't need to store your dial while in Buster Art. You can use dial storage beforehand, and cycle to Buster Art by quickly mashing B four times. This preserves your dial storage and also gives you more time in Buster Art since you won't have to waste time storing your dial again after dialing to Buster. also Jerm, I can't do the Buster Nair to Smash Fsmash true combo for the life of me. I'm able to get the confirm into Air Slash and Ftilt, but I haven't been able to land the confirm into Fsmash. Using the same characters, stages, and percentages as you showed. For the alternative dial storage that is listed in the description, is a jab needed to cancel selecting jump, or just simply letting go if b before frame 11?
I do not understand how I'm supposed to do this. I try doing the frame-by-frame thing in training mode, but I keep not getting it. I tried it in real time and was able to get it, but only if I jumped, Pressed B and canceled it with dair and held B and the endlag would be canceled. I don't understand how you're supposed to do this when you get the 10 frames from Fair as you showed in the video. I can never get them to carry over to my dair. Although I can cancel my endlag into a monado art, I cannot cancel it into a tilt attack or something else. So are you supposed to press B and A at the same time during landing lag to get storage? Does it matter when you let go of A or B? When you try to cancel Dair, you wait to press B and up for Smash Art right when landing lag starts? This is what I'm doing and it does not seem to work. Please help.
I've made numerous attempts at trying to use dial storage to escape fast multihit kill moves in training, like the f smashes you displayed in the video, but even if I dial storage and start holding b the frame after I take the first hit, the dial still comes out on the same frame it normally would without the storage. Both ZSS and diddy F smash can be escaped via the normal dial method, but you have to start holding the b button no later than 6 frames after the first kick and 4 frames after the first punch respectively, making it more of a prediction to the attack rather than a reaction to the attack itself. Isn't the storage cancel only available from aerial lag? Or am I missing something?
I'm pretty sure it's impossible to survive inkling roller usmash cheese without DS. So it must buffer the 10 frames off of hitstun similar to landing lag I'm assuming.
I'm having a bit of trouble with the timing. I usually end up triggering jump because the game thinks I'm trying to cycle through the arts. What can I do to avoid this?
