  • Megyn Kelly is joined by Alexa Nikolas, former child actress on "Zoey 101" and creator of the "Eat Predators" movement, to discuss the "Quiet on Set" documentary, her experience working with Dan Schneider, the traumatic and exploitative Nickelodeon workplace, how inappropriate some of what she experienced is now in retrospect, Drake Bell sharing his story of sexual assault by Brian Peck, child stars not being properly protected from predators, actors who came out to support Peck after he pled guilty to child molestation, why predators and pedophiles seek out workplaces like Nickelodeon, the responsibility of organizations to protect kids, the current state of Nickelodeon leadership, the responses after the documentary, and more. Then Batya Ungar-Sargon, author of the new book "Second Class," joins to discuss how the left turned against the Democrats abandoning the working class, polarization as an elitist phenomenon, how most Americans are more tolerant and united than elites on the right and left, why minority voters care about illegal immigration and are turning toward Trump, the working class identity in 2024, how Trump can unite various factions much more than Biden can, the corporate media's hypocrisy on democracy and Trump, their disdain for Americans actually getting to choose their next president fairly, woke young activists on college campuses, and more.

Our youngest was born in 1999. We enjoyed the Amanda Bynes Show together. Such a talent! I was actually jealous of her parents for having such a talented child. Now that the horrors of Nickelodeon are being broadly revealed, I am no longer jealous of Amanda’s parents and am so so very sorry and very very angry to hear that Amanda was abused by Nickelodeon.

I moved from Illinois, a Dem stronghold. I had worked in Chicago for 40 years before I moved to rural Northern Georgia. I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find they were normal folks. They were very nice. They were not any of the things that man that wrote the book, Rural White Rage, said they were. So misleading!

Lately my town is going downhill fast because it's democratic run city! I'm the minority and they know that and some people are starting to do things we hoped would not happen here! My job is teetering towards the wokeism bs! So I am looking to move from here after being here since I was 15.. now about to be 59,so.

My husband and I are currently in the worst financial position of our lives due to a car accident, then COVID, then debt and inflation, etc., so hearing how precisely and eloquently Batya detailed the difference between elites and the working poor really hit home with me. I see no difference between the rich lords and the peasant class of the past and our new system of economics. People are really struggling. It is no wonder that the world is in such chaos, as people are working so hard to just survive while the elites keep us fighting each other as a distraction so that we don't unite and demand change. We need a better system and I believe we have the wisdom and means available, we just need to get the selfish, greedy governing aristocracy to be dismissed from their positions so that compassionate and competent people can fix the mess they've made.
The governing class does not work for the people anymore, this is apparent.

Corporations represent 45% of all rentals, while the other 55% are not extremely wealthy but individuals who have taken their hard earned money and invested in real estate.
While times are tougher than they have been in the recent past, the economy was terrible in the 1980's. In 1982 the unemployment rate was 10.8% versus 3.7% in 2024. Mortgage interest rates reached a high of 18.63% versus 7.09% today. As you can see things were much, much worse.
When Ronald Reagan became President he explained to the American people there would be short-term pain but things would eventually get better. True to his words the economy did get better and by 1984 Reagan won reelection winning 49 out of 50 states - that would never happen today. At that time Democrats were in charge of both the House and the Senate, but they were not the leftists we have in congress today, they were considered JFK democrats and held moderate positions. You don't want compassionate people in the government, you want competent people who will promote policies that help the majority of people. Empathy has resulted in the homeless problem. Policies that get people off the street and into psychiatric institutions, assisted living facilities and into drug treatment would take care of 70-80% of the problem. Letting them languish on the streets is not a moral position.

The difference is those lords of the manor knew they couldn't survive without the toil of the peasants and they never tried to tell you how to think except when it came to protecting the manor. The wealthy elite today don't believe you are worthy of their attention, your opinions are not valid you are merely an envious peasant. They are vile hateful people posing as virtuous to cover for the financial crimes and crimes against humanity.

Wow! Megyn opens up with this!?!? The worst thing you can do is silence a survivor. I know, I'm a survivor. But to platform a survivor!?!? Ms Kelly is literally saving many lives with this show. That is fact. And this young woman? Only survivors can truly know KNOW how brave and strong this young woman is. Heroic. God bless these beautiful courageous, positively angelic, women. Megyn is nobody's fool. She knows exactly what she's doing. This, this is just another reason Megyn Kelly is one of the greatest journalists of this century. Literally the tears stream down my cheeks at the horror survived by these lovely young people. HORRIFIC! Way to break the silence Megyn. I'll never forget this young lady, haunting, inspiring. You should be getting a Presidential medal young lady. Well done sister! So there, I broke my silence too ladies, for whoever may need to hear someone else speak up. Don't stay silent. Please. Speak up, reach out. You are absolutely not alone. We will not go silently!!!! And Batya too! I never thought of megyn and Batya together. Batya is one of the most thoughtful and compassionate women in the media. Plus she's brilliant. Batya and Megyn? Solid gold, home run. One of Megyn's best shows. Heroic with this young woman. Breaking the silence that kills, literally the silence can kill us. Then two of my favorite journalists come together. Well, one more for my book list.

Hey, two of my children were child actors. They paid for their college with this money, but they probably never made it big because there is a SAG rule that children are to be insight of their parents. As a parent, I made sure that I was looking at my child at all times. I do think that as a parent it is your job to be there and protect your child or don't push your child to an actor. They should want to do it and you should be there to protect them. If you can't don't do it.

I'd seen him do this b4 but never really thought about it. This time I asked "why does someone have to come?", he said "for me as much as for u" he continued "sometimes people do things that r just wrong, sometimes people say things that r just wrong. I'm typically against foul language, but I was thinking the exact same words when Megyn Kelly said fuck them. What a nasty and judgmental portrayal of the hard-working men and women of this country. I work as a receptionist for a blue-color business and the overwhelming majority of our customers - loggers, construction workers, farmers, truckers - are exactly as Batya described. Respectful, smart, funny, hard working, generous, God-fearing, humble, and a lot of them are a lot wealthier than you would think. These leftists don't have a freaking clue that they're imploding.

My mom was an early gen feminist from Vandy in 1970 and now is under the modern liberal media’s spell 😢
Fortunately, she came to California in the early 70’s and was attracted to my dad, a handsome man’s man (surfer, sailer, cowboy) so I was raised with great balance.

My daughter thank God knew what to do and she did it..,she still had suffered the trauma of the attempt and who it was and she was strong and never waivered talking to the 3 different district attorneys we had to go through! Took over 3 years to get to court and the violator knew that he was going to lose so he pled out but,we were able to ask for specifics such as contact and things of that nature! He served 18 months and then I was keeping my eyes on him because he was on parole. He violated, I went to his parole officer and he went to court with me and I put the sob back in prison! He's dead now ty for that! He molested his step brother and his own sister and some other young men and no one said anything about it! His father shot himself because he knew that All his abuse of his own kids was going to be brought out because of the grown up siblings decided to support my daughter because if a 9 yr old can be this brave, so can we! I know that it helped them with alot because now they don't have to hide the dirty family secret!

Good afternoon...At the fifty six minute mark I had to stop and post a comment...It was truly appalling what the author of that book was stating about rural Americans...Our rural citizens are among some of the most hard working and truly honorable people in this great country...To reduce them to a soundbite to fit a narrative and a currently flawed zeitgeist was very exploitive, narrow minded, and flat out wrong...He was literally accusing others of exactly what he is guilty of...Racism and bigotry...
It was greatly appreciated that Megyn is having guests on her program that are shining a much needed light on the victimization of children...It is astounding that we even have to keep explaining that children have to be protected...Thank you for your enlightening platform...Keep shining that light...

When I was in 5th grade (1975) the janitor tried to lure me into his lounge/room at school with a bag of Almond joy. My instincts told me something wasn't right about it. I did go into the room for the candy and luckily another janitor came in to get something , that was my chance to escape. Looking back I think the other janitor knew he was up to no good. They where both old white haired men. The good guy was smaller in stature but the predator was a large fat man wearing bibbed overalls. I never forgot that day I also didn't tell anyone. But it was the 70's kids weren't getting taught to speak up.

Great show! The importance cannot be understated on the need to shed light and open discussion on this important issue. Being able to openly talk about such horrific evils against children will have a significant impact. Too many have been conditioned to think this is normal, or have become desensitized, or live in complete denial to this happening in their own communities or on such an enormous scale worldwide.

It is horrifying but the self serving, utterly superficial and actively ass covering denials in their response to this abhorrent and loathsome behaviour is even worse. Predators are often charming, sneaky and furtive, successfully hiding their activities for shockingly extended periods but there is NO EXCUSE for ignoring the situation when it is exposed.

Dad retired from the PD in 1972, old time Cops took care of these predators. Thes predators destroy not only the kids lives but the family too. Folks please practice zero tolerance for this stuff. Keep youre eyes open. Take a course on how to recognize the predators...there are common traits. Thanks Megan!
