Not Like some place but we need our own designs. Copycat architecture is liked by Indians. Hiranandani was among the first among modern architecture to be placed as upmarket. Even a hair cutting saloon has a white man on its poster. All brochures of new apartment complexes show white people. There was a vlog by a European in lower Parel and he was shocked to see that all new apartments construction showed white families. He asked through his vlog, Why do indians do this? I worked on a project on Mumbai's Development Plan and met many architects, town planners, designers, slum associations, RWAs, environmentalists. Why no one respects lanes or even know how to use lanes in India? No, its not ok to casually swing between 2 lanes, its dangerous. Also, almost every Indian think that its ok to block the fast lane if you are driving at maximum allowed speed. No! No matter you are driving on max, if someone wants to exceed the max as pass you, you have to give them the way. No one should have to pass you from your left. Always leave fast lane empty if you can drive on second lane. Sorry this is no development, from west, this is still 18th century.
