- A double date is a short animation that tells the story of a doomer who, dragged by his friend, goes to a meeting with the unknown.
Wanting to help his zoomer colleague, he decides to become his wingman, but by a strange coincidence, he somehow becomes an object of interest.

This is very true. I used to struggle with dating until I learned not to care too much. Go in with no expectation and just be normal, no mind-games or constantly worrying about whether she likes you. Now happily married with our first kid due next month. Trust me, you can do it, doomer.

Man I just witnessed this in person. Rather than trying to chase after a girl the other night I went out, I decided to just talk to whoever wanted to converse with me. Didn’t care and actually started chatting to someone who was interested in me (not saying the other girl wasn’t). Felt refreshing when that girl then decided to come up to me afterwards and I decided to go home and she seemed disappointed. Feels good being my own person for a change and just doing me. If the dialog spells out the theme, feelings and underline message (which in this case it doesnt) then it'll be considered telling. If not and you can still understand what the message is then it'll be considered showing.

Criminally underpaid, however, unless you’re the captain on a long haul international route flying a wide body jet. Imagine having a hundred lives in your hands on a salary lower than a unionized janitor
Cool and yet it's a job. Sometimes it can be very stressful to work for months away from your home, each day flying for over 3 to 5 flights and it's even more harsh when you don't have a strong backup at your home to relax. You would be surprised how many things you would need to sacrifice & activities to limit in order to achieve this dream.

Recently went on a double date and the outcome was similar. I matched with a girl on tinder and she wanted to bring her friend on our date which I thought was abnormal. 3 person date lol. Back in college, I was good friends with this guy, we had a regular thing going where we did double dates. We would decide on some date idea then it would be on each of us to ask girls out. It really worked fairly well, asking a girl with a specific idea, time and place in mind. It went a long ways in removing the creep factor of asking a girl out.
