This is one of my favorite covers from Floor. She takes "epic" to entirely new levels! And in true Valkyrie fashion, she is probably the nicest person who could tear your head off, either with her arms or her voice... Got to be my favorite singer ever!
My favourite cover from Floor. Thank you for the reaction. They really should put this the movie - this version just rocks. For me the simple change of having vocal run on the chorus "calling" makes this her own version.

This M83 song was the theme song for the movie of the same name starring Tom Cruise & Olga Kurylenko. It is a good movie, you should watch it some time. As you know, it's not an easy song to sing, but as usual, Floor nails it.

I wonder would Floor smile watching me to watch you reaction...ok, but yes, I appreciate very much Floors singing and her magnificent singing technic. She is so versatile using her voice. You mentioned her ability to live with the music when singing. I agree with that, she is able to feel the song and to express it. That's beautiful.

This might be my favorite of her Covers .
One if my favorite Floor performances! So powerful and emotional. As others have said she is realeasing videos from her solo show in September. My favorite song of hers, Sweet Curse, should be the next video to drop. Anything from Beste Zangers or her YT channel is gold. Anything from Human Nature. Favorites, Shoemaker, Tribal, Procession, Endlesness. Also love the 30 minute orchestral disc 2 with the powerful Ad Astra ending but not alot of vocals so not sure if it is a good reaction song for you. Still check it out for yourself.
This is my favourite cover that Floor has put out. Everything works so well in this song. It gives me a "traveling through space on a ship exploring the unknown reaches of the universe" vibe haha.
If you love vocal layering/harmonies, I highly recommend reacting to Unleash The Archers and their song Awakening (full band playthrough). Lead singer Brittney Slayes is a master at layering her vocals, using multiple layers at different notes and octaves to make chords with her voice. She's got such an awesome, powerful voice. I hate to come right out and say it, but as absolutely astoundingly amazing as Floor is, this song is so amazingly and astoundlingly generic and lifeless that even she can't save it. I have no ear for this type of whiny, drawn-out, boring garbage... The original is outright cringe-worthy with the over-use of auto-tune and drum machines, that I'm surprised she would choose it in the first place.
And as much as I adore everything Floor does... This one is a complete swing and a miss.
