For the Frontier to really complete with the Tacoma, someone is going to have to offer a real heavy duty offroad lift kit of 6" or higher. That RC kit is for light duty.
Let’s be honest, that’s a very small niche of the market that actually does any off-roading like that. So that rough country 6 inch is fine, even with your position. From the opinions of the few people that truly off-road, seems like they hold up pretty well.

Nice ride. I got my 2016 frontier, same color. I love my truck and when the time comes I’ll get another. Nissan did a fantastic job with the new frontiers.
