Cielo Drive - Where Sharon Tate Lived

Sharon Tate rented a home with her film director husband Roman Polanski at 10050 Cielo Drive in Benedict Canyon in the late 1960s.
We all know what happened there in 1969.

I suppose it was inevitable that the modest Cielo house that was, would be torn down and eventually a multimillion dollar structure built, but eh gads that ugly American monstrosity of a house that now resides there, and which nobody wanted to buy, seems a testament to someone with more money than good taste.
Also, I always say, if you want to see Sharon's true dream house, it was Patty Duke's house on Summitridge Drive which failed to be secured at the end 1968, not this rental property in which she was murdered by the friends of the former tenants, Melcher and Bergen (Manson and his crazies), not to mention owner Rudy Altobelli, though of course the latter was nicely protected by prosecutor Bugliosi. It's always the truth behind this case that interests me.
