  • Whether you love him or hate him, Tyler1 is a defining figure in the League of Legends community.
He’s been harangued for his toxic and aggressive behavior on stream but he’s also one of the game’s most popular streamers, and has recently committed to improving the game.
    This is his story.

Honestly that's not wrong, if you go watch top Smash Melee players like Leffen, Mang0, M2k, etc. they are genuinely interesting people who are fun to watch, meanwhile for League, a lot of the players, are just that, players, like on any sports team, sure you might know who the players are, but do you know WHO they are? Like their interactions with other people in general, their personalities, not really.

Frankly, from what I’ve seen from his stream montage and this video, he is not toxic to me. Like what he does is obviously for show. I don’t play League, but in Dota 2 for instance, Tyler1 wouldn’t be considered toxic. Trashtalking? If he is not using voice chat and just trashtalking on stream then I see nothing wrong. Going down mid and feeding? In dota every third pro player does it lol. Seems to me like LoL is a place for snowflakes. Which might not be that bad at all, cos its better to play in a healthy environment. I’m not saying that League is worse than Dota, just that it is different.

You could tell what he really wanted to do was play League Legends, which he could have done if he stopped streaming by hiding his IP. But he stuck with us and had faith that he’d play again one day. He spent a year doing the most dumb and degrading things just for his followers. He created so much content on game play throughs that I would watch when I got sick and had to be in bed. We got to know so many more sides of him than just his gamer side (that one time he was grilling and freaking box jumped the fence from a dare). The reason he mains Draven and even started playing LoL was because his dad gave him a headset ( the blue one that he always buys more of and does not change) that actually had a code To try out and install LoL with the free champion Draven. That's how it all started.

I love t1 to death... He helped me through some rough times, I still remember watching him play h1, rust, golf, arma, slither.io, overwatch, minecraft and ofc league with Greek. I still remember him talking to greek for hours and hours on steam, them getting mad at each other, rapping in discord servers, listening to disstracts, doing baking and outside streams. Ow and when they finally met each other and seeing Greek cry was something else man... Those 2 will forever live in my heart and I wish nothing but the best for them.

Greek was such a huge part of Tyler's story, but not one word of him in the video. I bet that one hurts Greek a lot. Poor fat man.

The "Tyler1" case is very important for the history of LoL community for a number of reasons. First, is a prove that toxic players can change if handled correctly. Also, showed us how fragile the system is, and how sometimes a frustrating game can get the worst out of us (that's why he keeps flamming on Rito when is about garbage-balanced champions like Zoe or Neeko).

"Handled correctly" You mean perma-ban all of them until they learn to not be dickheads? Sounds good.

Also remove the ban after a streamer from their game states they actually like their competitor's game?

i thought it was to prove that toxic players can get away with anything, as long as they're popular enough? we all know he got unbanned when they didn't want him to move to dota

He got the head set from his dad who left him, it had a Draven code. That's why he always uses him and never changes his headset. Poor research.

He plays draven because his dad that left him, gave him one present and it was a code to unlock draven . which is also the reason he started playing lol
