I like my 46s with no cutting. I just do street racing and hit the sand dunes. 22 inch springs and smaller in the back with reverse shackles, I think. It's been a few decades. Old school big block action with some nitrous. Fun stuff
Im about to start a many year ground up build on my 80 k20 to be an indestructable go explore rig. Triangulate 4 link front and rear and boxed frame being the start of the journey
These old K5s are what got me started with Squarebody Chevys when I was 12 or 13 years old.40 years later countless trucks and Blazers later still love these things. You guys do Awsome work
Hey merick, can you please tell me what's the full description on rim and tire set up you have on the k30 blazer. Also are you gonna run the same set up as k30 blazer on this bulid???
Hate to see those trucks hacked up like this, these trucks are worth a fortune in stock form, watch Davis drives, beautiful trucks, all original except for lifts an big tires
If I was going to hack up a Square, it would never be one described as "cherry". My wheeling rig would very likely have rust and dents already and be just as capable, just as trail worthy, just as fun to drive, except I wouldn't be ruining a "cherry" K5 that are super hard to come by. Of course, I'm not rich so I view vehicles differently. To each his own.
Man I would love to see more of the building aspect, love the talks an instruction... but man seeing the wrk would b awesome
you mean, just while we are doing it, video of bending the tube, welding it in and taking measurements etc?
@@MerricksGarageI would love to see the action while you are building it…measuring, welding, creating your game plan, etc.

Hello Merrick, I got a 1979 K5 with a 6 inch Superlift no body mount or blocks. What part numbers for the Bilstein shocks should I get?
That dash in the red truck looks good. Is that a custom build or something available to purchase?
thats from DIY4X
I’d love to how the rear fenders were done
How many clutches have you put in the burb so far?

Can’t imagine chopping up my 72 or 75 blazer 😂

Function vs fashion!
Cool to be on the trail in ur square
Blessed to have both styles 🍻
@@Grams-t5g I know, but if I was going to make a trail truck wouldn’t be a square body, love those trucks to much to gut them out
