Wondering if you could tell me where to buy a fuel pump and carb rebuild kit for my 1998 magnum 425. Love your video and want to try doing mine. Thank you!
That is great news. Hopefully I am not too late: Carb kit here: amzn.to/3NeYubR (quality brand) Cheap brand: amzn.to/3Nl2d7H Fuel pump (cheapo) amzn.to/4a9aGEO , and quality (amzn.to/3RctCKb) The best Christmas toy for you or your family: amzn.to/41kOAeE
Awesome video. I have a 2006 Sportsman 500 that just started bogging down when I give it throttle. It idles fine, which from my research means the pilot jet is clean. I sprayed what I thought was the main jet, but nothing. After watching your video, I'm guessing the main jet is clogged and needs to be removed to really clean it. Which one is the main jet when I'm looking at the bottom of the carb after taking off the bowl? Thanks for all the help!
Josh, I will have one soon. I just got a magnum in with a bad transmission. Hit the subscribe button so you are notified when I get one posted. Thanks for watching!
Extremely helpful video, I had never messed with carb on my machine before but you help me with the rebuild. I need some help. I installed new plugs, machine has run for only several minutes in total while adjusting carb and trying to get it to run better. Plugs are now very black as if it's running rich yet the Machine bogging and stuttering mid to open throttle, and improves with the choke slightly out as if it's lean. I raised the needle one notch, its second from bottom. It improved it some, still need choke. But inspecting plugs made it.look like it was already running rich. I'm confused
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports i got a carb rebuild kit. Every thing was clean and could see through them all. Got some of the jet cleaning wires and used those along with carb cleaner and compressed air. It is a 4 stroke. Has an aftermarket big gun exhaust and aftermarket air filter. I got rid of old jets. The new one in the kit is 152.5, not sure if that is adequate. Fuel screw is out about 2 turns. I adjusted it the way it says to in the manual
I have the same carb on my ATV, but I would like to know where does the petcock and fuel pump vacuum connect too? and where does the fuel and fuel vent connect?
my carburetor except air fuel isn't a screw, looks like a plug with a small hole, or is it a plug that covers a jet? it has no screwdriver slot. no one talks about the three pinholes in the throat, the purpose, fuel flow or why or what it needs for top end at high altitude/ 10k feet in colorado hunts. THANKS!

Is this carburetor similar in design to the 2002 Polaris Trail Boss 325? Great Video.
How many turns out should the carburetor be in the air fuel mix screw?
Very informative, great view on what you're doing too. Thanks
Great video. Very well done. Thank you.
Mine dies once warmed up and idling. Would a larger pilot jet help this problem? Thanks

What is a good starting point for the air fuel screw? I had someone remove it without turning it in and counting the turns first.
Nice job man!
