  • Yes Plant Lovers! I made a video about my Laelia anceps a few weeks ago - • How to grow: Laelia an... - and joked at the time that if I could fine one in a significantly different colour way...I'd give it a go! Well...tah dah! Look what turned up on Ebay the next week! This one is QUITE a different proposition so join me in unboxing Laelia blumenscheinii and finding out ll about it! (Which is now classified as a Cattleya...but for the sake of this video...lets stick with Laelia shall we?!)

    I have a yellow Lalia and the blooms last forever I grow mine in a dish with pebbles. And it does very well

    There is a yellow true Laelia, Laelia aurea. While it is listed as intermediate to warm, it should be able to grow for you in Melbourne without any issues. The only problem is it isn't very common in cultivation.

    Looks more like scoria (red/black)rather than pumice (grey/white).

    Me gustaría saber que tiene la laelia anceps en la punta de sus hojas que están secas ???????
