I love that this is the simplest, most idiot-proof ritual ever. Sacrifice someone to the labyrinth scribble, drain their blood into the middle, boom! Out pops your choice of ressurrectee.
I guess Rasputin set up the ritual for his servants to find someday in case he did die. His servants must of waited until that year to resurrect him for their plans.
I imagine it's premade.
It's also weird they only sacrificed one person tho.. The scribble looked like it needs three people to cover the whole circle with blood to complete the ritual

I think it was to cover up the mask he already wears, since of course no one would wear a mask like that in public. Or maybe because the mask he wears wasn’t build for cold temperatures (although that might not make sense at all)
