  • THE LAST OF US: ROOM SCENE
    I am going to model and texture a simple SOFA now. The modeling is done in Blender and the texturing in Substance Painter. The sofa will then be placed in the small room scene I am creating that is inspired by the video game, The Last Of Us.
    There is still more to do in this scene so please join me for upcoming videos. Thank you very much!

    sooOoOO Cool I Guess the Blood effect was so damn good. I don't have That much grunge and material in PT how can I have them? I should create them? It'll be saved If I make them?

    • @zerobio
      @zerobio  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks very much. I'm not sure what you mean by PT. I used Substance Painter for this and yes, you can save the textures as a Smart Material to re-use (although may need tweaking for different models). Let me know if that's not what you meant and I will try to explain more.

      @@zerobio thank you about explaining it to me and sorry my bad Pt i said i meant Adobe Substance Painter, can you please show me in next tutorial how to save them or find them or name a past video that you learned it before please 🙏👌💎.

      @unknownBoy85lover no problem at all. What you need to do is put all layers in a folder and give the folder a descriptive name. Them right click on the folder and choose save as "smart material". You should then have that material always available in your smart materials even when you close and restart substance painter.

    Hello. Your work and works are very successful. Can you publish a car model?

      Thank you. I haven't done a car for years and would need to practice for a long time before doing a video showing that. I will keep that in mind for the future.

      Great to hear, thanks. I've been doing 3D for 6 or 7 years, pretty much since my daughter was born and I needed to switch to a quieter/calmer hobby from music to 3D.

    Thanks for the tutorial, I am curious, if the effort to do the texture painting using solely Blender is too much? I guess that obtaining some brush textures would be necessary ?

    • @zerobio
      @zerobio  8 месяцев назад

      I have another sofa video where I use a fabric image map that is laid over the UV in Blender as well as some grunge/dirt. The result is reasonably good without using texture painting or Substance Painter. However, having used Substance Painter for creating textures, I probably wouldn't go back to texture painting but that is just my opinion.

    how old is your software? i literally cant follow because of it

    • @zerobio
      @zerobio  3 месяца назад

      Not sure back then. Many of the shortcut keys may have changed. You need to find out what they are for your particular version. Software changes all the time and if I use a new version, others with an old version suffer from what you just mentioned so no easy answer really.
