He is clearly superior in both sword and spear but he uses bow as his primary weapon because he is not as good at bow as other weapons, so, he's still training with the bow just like he is training how to use the chopsticks.

+@@Crowind1_ From what I've learned in computer science, Dialogue lines are specifically designed to respond to specific conditions. So, it's definitely not a bug.
Plus, secret dialogue lines such as these are meant to be triggered with specific conditions(normal players would never do) and it's one of the ways developers would use to communicate with someone who discovered the secret mechanics of the game and give them some sort of a "wink wink" gesture. After all, pretty much 99% of the games I've played or watched on RUclips always does things such as these.

A (not so) fun fact: After his father’s death, Diluc traveled Teyvat for three years, beating up a bunch of Fatui along the way. During this time, he had left his vision in Mondstadt with Kaeya, and only used the delusion that his father had used before his death. When Diluc returned to Mondstadt three years later, Kaeya returned his vision inside the strange vase that’s in Dawn Winery.

At Kaeya's Story quest , he doesn't give us a 5 star or 6 star sword. But he gives us the best 3 star sword (Harbinger of Dawn) . Imo it's better than a few 4 star swords at R5.

We all know that the Millelith guards uses the White Tassel but did you know?
There are two Millelith Guards who doesn't use White Tassel but instead of Halberd?
They are Zhe'yuan (can be found in outside Golden House) and Fengyan (can be found in Yujing Terrace).
Edit: There is one more in the docks of Liyue Harbor named Yong'an
Edit: I found another one, Qioaxi in Bishui Plain
Note: Fengyan is a Millelith Sergeant but Zhe'yuan, idk but it says Millelith under his name
