I always wondered why this was admitted so early on in the series. Secrets like these in a tv show usually get built up until the end of a series. But overall, I like this scene, and I'm glad at the time in 2000, I recorded this episode, and good thing too since there never was a season 2 DVD release in the US. I actually had a similar situation from this a few months before this episode premiered where a girl told me off about how she feels about me when she found out how I felt about her.
