Hi Joe I have a question Do you think it's possible to separate the art from the fanbase I had this issue for quite a while and to be fair I do think it's possible but it depends on the fandom For something like star wars since most people hatewatch the franchise instead of having naunced takes, as well as still giving disney money, it automatically means the fanbase is connected with the art through association Unfortunately, the same principle can also be applied to spongebob Mainly because alot of people are review bombing the new seasons and the recent films (and Hatewatching them knowing they are going to hate it) Some don't even know what they want in spongebob So even as someone who loved the show growing up, separating the art from the fanbase here cannot be done mainly because the fanbase is ironically giving spongebob more attention of letting it starve Now to be fair shows such as Rick and morty, steven universe, loud house, star vs etc all have their own toxic fans but they are far more easier to separate since alot of them either grew up, are just typical, or the show is still enjoyable without the fanbase Spongebob and star wars however caused alot of damage in not only reviews but also ruined my perspective of these franchises But those are my thoughts
Field of Dreams, Moonstruck, and Raiders of the Lost Arc. Really amazing movies. At Close Range one of the best crime movies ever.
