- It is time for another skate shoe review! It has been a while and this time I am reviewing the DVS comanche skate shoes which cost $90 plus shipping btw. I forgot to say so in the video. I wanted to try DC skate shoes originally but then when I saw that these were the OG chunky skate shoes I had to try them out. The dvs comanches look so cool but they might be hard to get used to if you haven't skated chunky shoes like me.

I'm so glad dvs kept their fat shoe design. They're like the most 2000s shoe ever, it's great.
Ikr! Since they are known for the design it would be weird to change and I'm glad they didn't like modernize it in a strange way so that's good! They look awesome!
thanks for the sizing advice, I think the cm indications are totally wrong because usually I wear 44 EU / 28cm nikes but 28cm for dvs is 42 EU lol. So I think I'll take a 44 EU dvs even though the cm indication us way too big
You're welcome! They recommend sizing up one more than your usual for US sizes. So I would say do the same for EU sizes and go with 44 just to be sure. Hope it works out for you!

I bought a pair of DVS comanche and the tip of the shoes is extremely thin so it hurts my toes :( Im male btw 42.5 EUR they are cute but super uncomfortable for me
Aw man sorry about that. Maybe you could size up? But yeah the tip of the shoe is quite thin.
clean as fuck front k, great review too! i've had some pretty bad ankle injuries from skating before and I want to get into more chunky options, i'll keep these in mind

These shoes definitely feel more protecting for your foot in general and any high tops I think help protect ur ankles….these aren’t ALL that high though but I still think it should have some ankle support more than totally low top shoes. Overall just keeping your ankles strong and stretching them out as well before every sesh is rlly important! That seems to help me atleast.

Thank you for the advice brother but respectfully, I will NOT USE Islam to become famous. I also don't want to be seen as a role model who will get hate as soon as they do something slightly wrong. The hate hijabis get when their hijab isn't 'perfect.' I will not get into that. I want to become big by being myself like Isa Haltam. He is muslim but he doesn't claim to be any role model and his channel doesn't revolve around him being muslim. What I am doing is just being myself and skateboarding and that is a more subtle dawah for non muslims. Plus I don’t have the knowledge or qualifications to make those types of videos. I know you are just wishing me success and trying to give advice but respectfully, I know what I am doing akhi.

Those shoes look like they could be an either nubuck material or synthetic suede. Cupsoles definitely take longer to break in (esp the grip), but usually seem worth it. The thin vulc kind of shoes always make my feet feel too sore. Nice bag of tricks!🙂
Thanks! And yeah, vulc shoes aren’t for everyone but they seem like the best for me. Overall, I think these shoes will improve as I continue wearing them, skating them, and getting used to chunky shoes. 👍 Thanks for telling me what the material might be too cuz Ive never seen it before lol.
