  • How to ollie on a skateboard. This is a skateboarding trick for beginners and it is fundamental! This is also my first real attempt at a skateboarding tutorial. I hope I did okay. I know my ollies aren't perfect but they get better over time and so will yours. I am just teaching you what I've discovered while learning it and what I have learned from others. Another tip I have heard is to not think of jumping as jumping but as floating and/or just pulling your knees up to your chest so that maybe a nice mental note to take. I would also recommend learning this by practicing it some of the time rolling and other times stationary (on thin carpet NOT grass because you will get dirt in your wheels and bearings) as that helped me get it rolling faster. Have fun skating ya'll and please subscribe if you actually care about me.

finally. a how to ollie video that talks about jumping in the direction youre going. ive been waiting for this for months. yes, it helps you level out your ollies.

Yes. I'm glad you liked it. You have to jump in the direction you are going. How else would ollie gaps then? You have to jump in the direction of, and over the gap, to make it. It also helps level it out because you are shifting your body weight over your other leg/foot.
