Thank you for the long comment and it’s totally okay that you couldn’t go. This video was one I had planned to make before so it’s not just cuz of you if that’s what you thought. And I totally can see how you lost motivation when ur cousin moved away. That rlly sucks and so yeah I do the same, I kinda just skate and talk to random people (when there is people) and that’s all I can rlly do since I don’t have friends. it’s nice and helps with loneliness a bit. but having a deeper friendship is always more fulfilling. I also totally get the watching these people like Meadow Scott having these crazy fun skate days like a coming of age movie and u feel like you are missing out. That’s why I want to make videos that kinda give the same energy (as best I can with only being one person in it usually lol) so maybe I can look back at it and see that life wasn’t all that bad i guess?? it’s also fine if my skate friends aren’t ALL Muslim. I just mostly prefer girls generally but some Muslims would be good lol. And I don’t have anything against you as a Christian. We are all supposed to respect each others’ views and it’s also not up to me to force my religion on you either. So it’s all good. Plus my grandma is Christian too. Congrats on getting your first skateboard! That must be so exciting since it is so hard to get a skateboard in your country. Even if there isn't much area to skate outside, find a way to skate inside if you can so you won't give up. It isn't too late to start now and if you can do everything in your power to find a place to skate whether inside or outside, you can do it and progress! If there is a will, there is a way. So go for it and have fun! I am glad my channel gave you motivation to keep going and I know one day you can make all your dreams come true if you don't give up!

I am more of a sub girlie personally. I like the voice acting better. Idk hearing them speak eng is just kinda weird to me since it is a show made in Japan.

Agreed. Dub is alright but I prefer sub more. It has more iconic lines and them speaking in english is kinda annoying. Im only on season 2 but I spoiled it for myself.😂😭

Haha yeah that’s kinda what I thought...And yeah believing in God definitely gives me hope that there will always be good coming in life and it makes hard times easier to bear for sure. But I’m just expressing some of my frustrations with the video.

I don't think this will work for that particular problem. I would say if you can't get the back foot on, when you ollie, watch the back foot ONLY when you ollie and force your foot to follow the motion of the ollie. Force your foot to follow the board so that it stays on when you land. I hope this helps!

You're welcome! They recommend sizing up one more than your usual for US sizes. So I would say do the same for EU sizes and go with 44 just to be sure. Hope it works out for you!

No no thank you for the rant! I love to hear everyone’s thoughts. I’m glad you like my videos and that you could relate to this one. I don’t think friends are my main motivation for skating cuz I started doing it alone so I don’t think I will ever give up! but I certainly think friends make it so much more fun. And yeah, if I’m feeling too bummed about not having friends and empty parks I get why you would say to take a break so it doesn’t ruin the experience but for me it hasn’t rlly ruined the experience but maybe I’m just not burned out enough lol. Ofc I do take breaks but like after three days I am like man I gotta skate! I love to do tricks so much that I don’t want to lose them. Taking breaks rlly show me how much I love to skate and that it isn’t always about friends. Having to make content also helps motivate me to skate. Also I’m glad you said that friends come eventually cuz that gives me some hope for some homies one day! Keep shredding!

Thank you sm! I am glad you could relate with me. And yeah, it seems most girls who get into skating don't seem as excited about it. I know that is a generalization but every time I find a girl who 'likes to skate' they are never into it as much as me. i rlly dont know why. Learning tricks is so fun. And I totally get the whole nagging your parents to drive you so your stuck in your neighborhood. I was like that too before I got my license but I still am not allowed to go by myself so I totally understand. But you keep shredding too! Go skate and have as much fun as you can despite not having friends!

First of all, thanks for the long comment and all the good things you have said about me in it. Means alot really. AND that first point you made about people in real life having friends but you don't. That is LITERALLY me and I don't get why I am not like them. But I try not to pity myself though it gets hard sometimes. I get why you gave up. I also gave up for such a long time. But I realized, that if I give up, that hole still needs to be filled and no amount of coping will fix it. So I am trying again, with more productive hobbies this time and being a more developed person (I hope? lol). But I do believe you like the things you said you liked such as gym and chess, but I think you might still be coping like I was. Ofc I don't know you, you know yourself best. But you may be going through the same thing as me. Your hobbies make you happy like skating and stuff makes me happy. But they might also be acting as something to distract you from the true issue that needs to be fixed. But that is just my thought because that is how it is for me. But I won't give up even though I have wanted to multiple times. Besides, so many people have friends, what makes us any different? We deserve it too! But that is just what I think. Thanks for replying and giving me your honest thoughts on whether I'm coping or not lol. I appreciate that. I know I probably am coping but I just don't feel as strong anymore to keep going. Maybe/hopefully one day I will be again. I feel like I have been tryharding for quite a while and I literally feel like *nothing* improved. So, this summer, I'm just chilling ig. One thing I thought I might do in half a year or so (as that's when I will have an opportunity to) is to go see a therapist or psychiatrist or whatever. I kind of feel like there's likely something off with my brain. At least a little bit? Maybe that's what hindering me. I usually don't like to think this way as if the thing is something that's out of my control, then I don't have the power to do much about it on my own (even tho I am literally not even trying to do anything lately lol). But if there actually is something wrong, then I should absolutely go see a therapist. So it might be worth a shot I guess. Have you ever thought about doing that? I'm not trying to imply anything, I swear hahaha. You seem very mentally sound and stable, I'm just curious. One last thing, of all the realest friendships that I have had in the past, they all kind of began in the most organic way. I did not specifically seek those friendships or try to do some activity/go to some event to try and meet people. They just kind of happened spontaniously? I'm sure it happens even not spontaniously so, not trying to say otherwise. I'm just saying. I guess I'm just rambling at this point lol. I would totally get if you don't respond or even read this. I like putting it out there tho, for myself at least.

I’m glad you read what I sent and I think seeing a therapist even if you are not sure if something is actually wrong is still a good thing! I think therapy could help anyone whether they have a mental illness or not so there shouldn’t be a stigma attached to it. I’ve thought about trying it out just cuz why not but I’ve not gotten a chance. Even if something was wrong, I’m not one to pin everything on it and use it as an excuse to not try anything or do anything. But if something is wrong with us a little bit, that shouldn’t stop us completely! But I totally get what you said about not feeling like pursuing friendship. Rejections are draining and if you just wanna chill a little bit and not try for a while that’s fine too! But you are right. Most friendships happen spontaneously and so it’s not like I’m asking around for people to be friends with me cuz that’s not usually how it works? I just try to put myself in situations where a spontaneous friendship is more likely cuz it won’t happen sitting in my house lol. Unless I find a rlly cool online friend which I have found one that I met spontaneously. We just can’t meet irl so I would like some irl friends too haha.

I guess what I was trying to say was that, on the one hand, I secretly want there to be something wrong with my brain so that it's not my fault that I'm like this. On the other hand, I actively try not to believe in that as, somehow, I feel like I have more autonomy that way. Idk how to explain it, really. Btw, when I was in kindergarten, I remember straight up asking people to be your friend was actually a thing hahaha. And it worked! Kind of? Also yep. Sitting in the house is not a great friendship generator lol. So putting yourself in situations where a spontaneous friendship is more likely is the way to make it happen 😭😭

Thanks! most euros at the skateparks I go to are hella steep (or they straight up dont have one). The only reason I could get an ollie up this one is cuz it was mellow. I have never ollied one before until this day, but if I get better at ollie-ing them, I would totally like to try a kickflip and other tricks! It would help my progression alot!

Haha I sure am! I wanted to wear them as soon as I could and so this video was the first time wearing them. They feel great. Might get the military green colored ones next time!

Yeah! They are the newest skate shoe I’ve tried out and I am rlly liking them. The flick and ankle support is great! I would totally recommend them.
