Biggest problem with this kit, is you no longer have any trunk space. They able to make it really cheap since it's all flat and not molded:(
You can Upholster it yourself -thats why we have these cars do it with pride its not hard it just takes a little time I did mine.
I bought one of these kits for my 71chevelle and it worked out great! I upholstered it myself (easy)i built a sub box for my 12s right behind my backseats facing up...i can even fit a canopy chairs and a cooler now...my battery (behind the quarter panel)...too bad there out of business now
Very well designed for over all looks
However, is the trunk space functional for a spare tire with jacket kit or emergency tools.
I would prefer a functional space compared to non functional space that serves no purpose.
In my opinion, that should be the overall goal to make your vehicle safe and equipped with tools to assist you in the event of an emergency.
The trunk space serves no purpose for the driver, but it looks good to the public.

What kit did you order. All I see on their website is solid kits, without cut outs. I really like the way yours is done. Looks awesome.
I don't remember the name of the kit I bought it in 2018. I went to their website to see if they still offer it and I did not see the model I purchased. Shoot them an email and send them this video link and ask them if they still offer this kit.
About $1,000 for the whole thing if you have it upholstered! Debating it! Seems like alien company could upholster it and send it to you done and just in 4 pieces and raise there price by $100 to $200 more.
You may be right about the cost but I don’t think it would look nearly as good if you wanted it to match the interior exactly. In my case I wanted the trunk kit to match the same custom material I used on the interior of my car. I had the interior redone with a custom upgraded vinyl with blue stitching and blue piping on the seats.
When you see my car in person it really looks great the way the trunk and interior material and colors match exactly. In the future I will upload the interior video and I think you will agree it looks great. In my opinion it was well worth the extra money. That’s Just My Opinion I Could Be Wrong.
how much space do you have from the back seat to the start of the first backing panel ? Im wondering because I want to add a sub box behind the seat. thank you
About 12 inches at the smallest point and about 20 inches at the largest point,

Looking for trunk kit for 1970 Oldsmobile 98 2 door
It would look nice in my 69 camaro..but I have a fuel cell in the trunk..so I have to figure a way around it
I would have made it to follow the floor pan and set it back a few feet then opened the sides a bit this looks like a huge Igloo ice chest

They are not that easy to put in like they say I have a 67 Camaro and I'll tell you one thing none of the pieces fit right I had to attach and reattach and nothing worked at all so I guess he was lucky I wasn't so lucky I got it to work but it fits in not that great

Did you purchase them with the leather pre done or did you take it to a upholstery?
I had the upholstery shop that did my interior wrap my trunk kit with the same vinyl so my trunk kit would match my interior.

No the spare tire will not fit in the trunk with the trunk kit in.
