Great guide but you should also mention some of the weaknesses of classes especially when they are compared to each other and elaborate a bit to actually help new players understand how each class plays out and what it excels at. For example a simple sentence like "DKs lack mobility compared to sorcs and nightblades who have unique class abilities that help move around the battlefield like no other class can (show a picture of streak and highlight a clip of a DK getting dogpiled compared to a streaking sorc being chased by a zerg)" or "Mag DKs is probably the best in the game in PVP but its difficult to master compared to the simplicity of the templar (and show a picture of puncturing sweeps)" or "sorcs have excellent burst but lack pressure compared to a DK (and show all the DK dots)" would actually go a long way by itself to give new players an idea of what to expect from each class without having to remember all the little details of each class. Thats usually the one thing that you never see in these guides and it would probably be one of the most important things to a new player. They describe in detail all the powerful abilities but without context and how each class is compared to each other they give the impression of "all classes are god tier at almost everything". Cut a bit short on the details of abilities cause new players wont really remember every little detail anyway and show context as to how each class plays out when they are compared to each other cause thats actually what new players will remember.
I just spent a day grinding out lorebooks to unlock Meteor. The Shooting Star morph is SO GOOD on DK. You generate 12 ult for each enemy hit, which means with big mobs, you can chain it together, and you get the BIG resource gains from the DK passive that gives you resources when you cast an ult. And the cherry on top, it does fire damage, which makes it even stronger for DK. I'm in love.
This video came just at the right time! I've been trying to find another class to play, as I've been maining a hybrid templar for several years now, starting to not excite me as it once did. I started a stamdk a week or 2 ago, wasn't sure about sticking with it, but after this video, I want to at least make it to CP 160. This video is also awesome because it's an updated showcase of the skills, thank you so much for this!

Been playing around with a magblade & stamsorc, thinking about returning to my templar (who has the most progress). I might return to my stamdk, I think I'm narrowing down which one I'll go with... Great video. This patch has me loving my DK again. What do you think of Burning Spell Weave and Flame Blossom as a match up? I'm running it on my magDK and he is killing it.
Why not relequens and kinras? Or advancing yokeda. Or deadly. Why backwards to huntmdings and briarheart. I Liokkg for dos trail would these sets be good to back too that you put in video for a stam dk dw
Why doesn't anyone talk about Plaguebreak for PvE? I run into a group of mobs, hit one Cleave and they start exploding. In just a few seconds I can clear tons of mobs. Even in Group dungeons with the 50k trash mobs, one to three Cleave and they all explode, even mobs that weren't attacking me. For more fun I will run PlagueBreak and Ashen Grip for the fire proc.
@@SunBro_Talos I didn't believe that until I watched the next video about the Templar and took an old Templar, set her up using the recommendations with Deadly Strike (It was cheap and easy to find) and Hexos Ward sets. She melts everything, maybe not as fast on the trash mobs but the higher level mobs melt faster than with Plaguebreak. I think with a little more optimization she's going to be wicked.
@@Deltiasgaming I find it difficult to keep up with other players. Skilled ones will break both parts of fossilize in a second and sprint away faster than a dk can keep up... at least without major expedition
Whats funny to me is that your builds on the website leave out a lot of the "awesome",as you put it here,skills from the builds and then some of us go....we have the beginners guide gear but our sustain and self healing is very bad...i myself can do 40k dps as a mag Dk but im nearly 800cp and have advanced gear but due to this videos info not being on the website properly or in build videos i always find myself eventually lacking sustain... hopefully now i can edit my build thanks to this COMPREHENSIVE guide on what is good for sustain and what isn't Btw the 40k dps wasn't a brag it was a complaint cause i run out of magica in long solo PvE fights due to me following the guide but not getting the passives understood right

true but DK standard increases your damage and reduces damage done.
Hell yes I like this type of content. Would also like to see you include preferred race choices for each role.
Nord for tank, DE for stam dps, high elf for mag dps, argonian for healer imo

I have a question regarding mag dk dps. For someone at 600cp with all purple gear, what dps should one expect on a trials dummy? Thanks.
If you can get between 50-70k you should be in line with most of the players. Just gold out weapons first.

Because PvE is more than just trash mobs and there are plenty of sets that provide much more damage than plaguebreak

It's a very different playstyle than sorc.

DK is so easy to play and so overpowered with inherit buffs the class is designed to carry noobs
