DKs have been my favorite class since starting ESO about 3 years ago and being a DK tank has been my main playstyle. Following some of these guides at times for inspiration I got an understanding of using the DK a lot more than just a tank though and I am very happy with my other DKs, am looking forward to making a DK healer using the new class set as a basis for the concept. And I am just sharing this because I am so happy about it but between all those DK builds, guides and your massive guide about Endless Archive, last night I managed to push so far into a Solo run of Endless Archive I made it to 6th place (2nd on the weekly) on the leaderboards for solo DKs on PC NA at a score of 236k (arc 7, cycle 4, stage 3) using a mixture of suggestions and made my own setup. So thank you for the great guides! I am looking at now maybe helping some guildmates at some point in Duos.
Ive played Many MMOs the past 17yrs and mainly osrs and WoW, im just getting into ESO today and made a dragonknight, this guide is helping alot! thanks!
I've played the game for quite a while, but did not know about the six target cap on multi-target status effects until I watched this video. Thank you so much for sharing that.
I kind of find it misleading to tell people that there's no class. That's the best at tanking, when there are classes that do excel at certain roles more than others. Just because every class can play a role does not mean that they are all equally effective. If you want players to get better at the game, it's more helpful to let people know which classes are better at certain roles.
Well true but you have to consider that right now in eso any class can pretty much do anything, unless you are score pushing or going for hard mode and things that a new player wouldn’t even get to for a long time, it doesn’t even matter what class your tank or healer or dps is. A tank sorc or nightblade for a vet dungeon is not gonna under perform by a lot compared to a dk tank. So misleading ? Not really. Actually he is making things much easier so the new players can slowly understand the game better and later on they can get into min maxing and every other small detail.
Really appreciate the video man. Just picked this game back up all the way from 2015 and I’m pretty overwhelmed where to start especially at level 20. This helped tremendously and look forward to building around it.
Would you recommend running Burning Embers over Venomous Claw for a beginner while levelling for the healing bonus? Eventually I’ll get the item ring of the pale order but I’ve heard DK’s struggle for healing early on. (I’m new to the game, only level 10 on 3 characters!)
My main is a Stam Dk(CP 650). As far as gear, I use the following sets: Runecarvers Blaze, Deadly, and Stormfist. 4 medium and 1 light armor. Duel weild dagger and axe front bar. Restor staff on back bar. It delivers massive DOT pressure. molten whip as my spammable.
Thanks for the fashion tip! Tracked it down to one of your guides, and i had actually just unlocked that dro' motiff, then i just looked up what that achievement was! Void pitch, was looking for a good black but i didnt have any unlocked yet!
Im currently watching all of these class videos you have done like this. These are hands down THE BEST videos of this type that ive ever seen. I really appreciate that you just lay down the info as you do, and dont press ppl towards some kind of meta or anything. Just pure information, ppl can make choices based on deep dive information rather than "do this because meta, if you dont youre a scrub. Git gud" Learning so much about the classes, and game in general.
Is silk of the sun viable for pvp flame dot dk? My last time i played eso was 5 years ago and i played bsw+sun+skoria. Can it rock in pvp open world or its trash now ?
