What I find funniest about all of this is how the same people who are apparently most concerned about voter fraud are also in favor of Trump clinging to power by any means, no matter how undemocratic or illegal.
Yes, the ones that shout the loudest they are 'patriots' are usually the least patriotic because they don't really understand America.
I'm a patriot, don't care for either of them, but this has been the most screwed up election to date. And everyone with half a brain realizes Biden has Dementia therefore making him unable to be president yet nobody wants to acknowledge it.
Also what this obviously-very-biased lawyer won't acknowledge is that this will most likely go to the Supreme Court and Trump will remain president until 2024. I'm not happy with either one of them, but I am in favor of following the unbiased law.

I think that if the lawsuits are not sufficient to change the result, Trump will just leave and not bother with a smooth transition.
He will then start a news channel to compete with fox news. Both Hannity and Tucker Carlson will move to that channel and all will be well.

The security is the Secret Service. I'm also pretty sure although they will give their life for a President, like most federal agencies I'm pretty sure their service oath is to the Constitution and the people of the USA not the President nor Congress. I know for certain that the military service oath is to the Constitution and Citizens of the United States of America, they are also trained to disregard unlawful orders. Individuals might side with Trump, most will follow their oaths and training.

Trump's mob basically stormed a government building to demand that Trump must be the president, which means it was a coup attempt. It was a shitty coup attempt though. As I understand it, the White House staff is packing up the President while he is at the ceremony. All his stuff is in the moving van when the new President arrives. The White House is not the President's personal staff, he did not bring them in from Mar-A-Lago or the Trump tower. The staff has gone through may peaceful transfers of power. The Vice-Presidential mansion is cleaned out in a similar manner.
If the tantrum continues beyond the speeches, the new President may turn around and give a lawful order to the senior officers of the military. The President is the official grantor of the commissions of all officers in the United States military.

The logistics, coordination, planning, and leverage required to actually pull off a coup in the US is far beyond orangey's reach. If you watch interviews of them it isn't about "we will protect Obama/Trump with our lives," it is "we will protect the PRESIDENT with our lives." In the military it is the same thing, they aren't listening to General WhatsHisName, they are listening to THE general.
There could be some fanatics in the ranks, but I think it is fair to assume that most people who join either the secret service or military will obey their duty rather than their feelings.
