Honestly Rory really was an ungrateful kid.... I really felt bad for Luke, Rory blamed him for kicking Dean out when all he was trying to do was to make sure Rory wasn't fooled and have a loving good relationship with a partner who loves her.... She really doesn't deserve this much attention with this attitude of hers. Emily was right she was a spoiled girl in the end.
this episode she was for sure mothering. everytime rory got any mothering though she seemed to explode tho!! 🤦🏻♀️ ive also noticed the way rory treats lorelai when lorelai messes up... she is not kind at all, a lot of the time! i just watched the first few episodes of s7 and ya its a lot of them 'not talking' but it's crazy how rory starts to turn on her mom and make her feel soooo bad!!
i hated Rory and Dean's relationship here. honestly it felt so wrong and sudden to make them get back together and especially when he was MARRIED. I don't get what the writers was doing with this storyline did they really want dean to be Rory's first time that bad???
@@laurafabianmarrero Good god. Honestly i would've taken anything else but that. such an annoying part of the show . and honestly as i grew older i started to hate her character too. many things especially in college were so bad and annoying. still can't stop watching the show tho. dk why
I can understand this maybe - I mean dean was in the wrong because he lied to her and told her his marriage was over, but then when they had the two of them get back together once Dean's marriage actually was over several months later, that seemed totally off. Esp since he only got divorced because Lindsay found out about Rory, not because he chose to leave her for Rory. Dean was a jerk, but they always painted him as the good guy. I have dated that type before 😐
@@jacquiandp-dog7755 Totally agree. He was in the wrong too. And like you said the relationship was so off . And his character used to be so great at the beginning even tho they were a little be incompatible in my eyes. but when they got back together his character was sooo bad. I'm sorry you had to date that type it must have been horrible.

Dean getting married at 19 was not a believable story line. There definitely is a thread here that is believable. But the further from the core you get, the more senseless drama that appears. What a spectrum though, huh?? A significant and influencial show whatever way you slice it.
i use to work with a couple that got married at 18 (small town) and a classmate's aunt got married 17 or 18. it does happen, even today. not incredibly likely... but i think this storyline is realistic in the sense that dean marries the first girl he lays eyes on after rory, because he's hurt and he also does want that wifey dream...
@@mariakara2419 Thank you for your input and sharing your experience. I suppose my own experience is so far on the oppsoite side of the spectrum, it's difficult for me to even imagine it. Even my parents didn't start having children until their 30's. What you're saying makes sense. Of course, there's more to that story line, but you're right...the core of the story line does make sense.
I never liked Dean for his adultery with Rory's skanky butt. So I understand Luke's nasty attitude eith him in this episode. But before Luke treated him like garbage ever dince he and Rory started dating in 2000, and he treated Rory like a princess, same as everybody else and she did him dirty over and over. So him repeatedly dumping her always had good reason
And Rory's relationship with Logan wasn't any better. It was worse actually. But dide Luke criticize or spit on Logan's existence for everything he and his family did to that girl? No
The first one is first episode of the fifth season but you should first watch the end of season 4 cuz the end of the episode and the begging of the fifth season is the same thing but different points of view
In season 1 2 Dean was the best bf ever to rory and because she liked Jess and broke up with Dean he got jealous so to make rory jelous he dated Lindsey even though he loved rory❤
I like that this storyline is more realistic than the idealized love story. Its not a model of a relationship, but most relationships are not.

This show is very realistic actually
Lorelei needs to be a mother , she was a good friend but she needed to be a mother

She was too immature to parent.
Season five.....the beginning of the end.

Agreed. And Rory’s skanky butt 😂 finally someone said it.

Well Dean was married.. Logan wasn’t my favorite but Dean treated Lindsay horribly
what are you talking about? Logan actually treated her well and got him out of a jam with Lorelai
First ! Love Gilmore girlsss
Que capitulo es
Rory should not have done that dean was married 0:39
