    Hello! Can you please tell me how to remove candle wax from my red suede shoes?? Your help will be appreciated.

    • @ShoecareshopEur
      @ShoecareshopEur  7 лет назад

      Dear Katerina,
      Unfortunately I have no experience with candle wax yet, but I think it can be consideren to be a grease stain. You would need to remove the chunks of wax first and then clean the suede with Saphir Omninettoyant. Spray the suede afterards with Saphir Renovator spray to even out the colour a bit. This should get the stain to blend in with the suede. Send us an email through our website if you need any further help.

      The ShoeCare-Shop International Thank you very much for your fast reply and for your advice. If I use warm soapy water, the greasy stain will be removed or it will further damage the suede?

    Thx for the helpful video ^^. I do have a qn: after using the cleaner, do we need to use water to wash away the foam/cleaner? Or could we just wipe off the form? Coz isn't water damaging to the suede? Thank you.

      +Allaluca Thank you for your question! A lot of people think that suede has a low tolerance for water which isn't the case for most suede shoes. I would recommend using quite a bit of water to rinse off the cleaner untill it stops foaming. Be sure to clean between the sole edges too since it gets stuck in between there. Afterwards let them dry naturally (preferably room temperature). You need to brush the suede after cleaning them to loosen up the nap. Use a nourishing spray to even out the colour even more and clean up dry spots. (Saphir has coloured Renovator sprays to even out colours even more). Good luck!

      +The ShoeCare-Shop International how long it will take to clean any suee shoes using this steps?

    • @ShoecareshopEur
      @ShoecareshopEur  8 лет назад

      Hi Patrick, sorry for getting back to you just now. The actual cleaning steps don't take that long, about half an hour in total probably. But after washing the shoes you will have to let them dry for a while. Depends a bit on the type of shoe, but normally it is at least 6 hours or more before they've properly dried.
      We hope this answers your questions. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to email us at support at shoecare-shop.nl

    Hello, great video! Where can i get the super invulner? Can't find it on your website. And does it matter which colour the Suede has? My shoes are a bit darker than yours

    • @ShoecareshopEur
      @ShoecareshopEur  9 лет назад

      MrTewie Hi MrTewie! Unfortunately we can't ship any sprays abroad because of sipping safety regulations. This is why you cannot find the Super Invulner or any other spray on our international store. The Super Invulner and/or Renovateur sprays by Saphir are both available in a colourless version. This way you can use them on any colour suede. We do have a version by Dasco available which is an all natural pumpspray for suede. If you still would like to get the Super Invulner spray by Saphir I would check local webshops or physical stores.

    This looks like a great way to ruin the integrity and nap of the suede. Suede doesn't need that much care. At most you should condition the interior of the shoes with a light conditioner and use a suede eraser and brush occasionally if a bothersome spot appear. The use of cleaners will damage the leather fibers over time.

      Hello SirKrimzon,
      Although most spots on suede can be erased using a suede eraser, one might want to fully clean their suede shoes when for example stepping in a mud pool or wearing suede boots in winter. These kind of stains can be thoroughly cleaned using a suede shampoo. Suede is an amazing robust material which does not scratch or scuff but does easily accumulate dirt i'm afraid. It depends on what a person prefers I suppose.

      SirKrimzon you clearly have not gotten your suede shoes dirty before then.

    Hi there, I have a pair of Church's brogues in a brown colour. I have a slight mark similar to the white discolouration that can be seen in the video underneath the place where the laces were except on my shoes it is just above the toecap and so is visible and impacts on the image of the shoes. Any ideas?

    • @ShoecareshopEur
      @ShoecareshopEur  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Bill, Thanks for your message. I would say try to brush the suede with a brush to comb the nap of the suede a bit first. It could be that on the spot where the suede is discoloured. If you brush the suede it should turn back to it's regular state. If the suede texture is actually worn off like with the laces (the laces rub agains the suede and pull the suede off). then you cant really do anything against that. After brushing I would recommend using a spray, maybe even a coloured one such as Saphir Renovateur spray which comes in multiple colours. Of course bringing your shoes to a good shoe cobbler is also an option since they probably will have some experience with this.

      You wouldn't believe it. I used the product in the video last night and left the shoes to dry. Woke up this morning and blimey the discolouration was gone. I've got to say I'm well impressed. Plus the shoes look like new. This product is elixir for suede shoes. Thanks mate!

      Just a follow-up re the same shoes. The sole on the shoes is crepe rubber. The welt and sides of the soles have some brown staining. Any ideas as to how I can remove the stains? Just so you know I have Saphir's Renomat, if this is of any use...

      Hi Imran, Yes you can also use it on blue suede shoes without any problems. Be sure to impregnate the leather afterwards with a good oil based spray for suede.
