Yeees! Knew you would love this! 🔥🔥 ...Swiss was part of a group called So Solid Crew who blew up in the early 2000s...Swiss is an OG from the "Grime" music scene and could also battle rap. He always has bars and is respected in the scene. 🙏🏾👊🏾💯
@Chocolatebwoywonder 👊🏽🖤💯
A Classic Duppy this , so many doubles.
The one I’ve been waiting on… 🙌🏻🙌🏻 🔥
@Carla Laugh A lot 🔥🔥👊🏽🖤💯
Swiss was an original member of UK garage legends So Solid Crew way back in 1998 who were at least in part responsible for the new wave of music, now known as Grime. In 2002 Swiss featured alongside Asher D on Asher's self released single "Why Me" going on to a solo based mix tape titled "The Real Mix Tape" containing a lot of lyrically dense content, heavy bars and freestyles. Finally releasing his own debut album "Pain 'N' Muziq" in 2005 containing the then huge track "Cry" he had cemented his place as a solo artist. Today most people know his "Daily Duppy" which while brilliant I feel is somewhat light hearted compared to much of his other work, The Game, Nig**r. God?, Can't Breathe etc.....too controversial and real for most.

@Richard Frais 👊🏽🖤💯
I'm in and from the UK and from what I can see basically he didn't make it big enough so that everyone knows who he is but based on this video you would have thought he would have. Great reaction, I'm enjoying your journey through the UK backlog. 👍🏿
@Alexis Donaldson Oh okay. Thanks for the insight. Swiss gives me a vibe that he's elite with the pen. 👊🏽🖤💯
Not really true, just different era’s… Swiss stopped making music before social media started popping but before he stopped he was very known, respected and correct he come from commercial group called so solid crew. The not knowing who he is is a generational thing mixed with he no longer makes music
Swiss as already stated is part of the legendary so solid crew. Now Swiss campaigns for financial literacy for the black community in the UK and started a movement call black pound day where we circulate our money in our own community first in the same lines as black wall street. Well worth looking into if your interested but not really focused on the music scene these days
@Staggsy Thanks fam 🙏🏾🖤💯
If I'm correct, Swiss is a member of the So Solid Crew. They were massive back in the day. You may have to do a bit of research on their history..
@logon3 I appreciate you providing some background info on him. Cheers fam 👊🏽🖤💯
Respect to you for researching what an Oyster card is.
@Trip Two FUN fact...I lived in the UK (specifically Uxbridge) between 2010 and 2013. I have had my fair share of topping up my oyster card and grabbing some snacks from Gregg's before hopping on the Metropolitan line 😎👊🏽🖤💯
@@TheoryofBlack Ah okay. Was that work or study?
I used to live a few miles away from Uxbridge.
That whole outskirts of west London/Middlesex was a bit of an odd area. Not too much going on.
@@triptwo425 Studying - Brunel Uni alumni here 🙂
@@TheoryofBlack Nice one! So you're already somewhat versed in UK slang I guess.
