Hi! i`m very exited to start my own business as Bookkeeper but i i'm a bit confused about one thing. I hope you can clarify it for me. Imagine a scenario which i had five clients. How i would manager the accounting software for each clients? For exemple, in QuickBooks/sage/xero is possible i have diferente accounts for each single client or i need to ask each client to create a QuickBooks/sage/xero account thus i would access them accounts. could you help me please??? This is a good question. I find that often people looking for a new bookkeeper have an established system in their office and although they are not adverse to having someone remote they do not want to setup a new system and prefer to use the one they are currently using. Is there a way to access they're system on their office server remotely?
@@hildihearn7226 It depends on if they'll allow you remote access to their server. Most small businesses that would utilize an outside bookkeeping service wouldn't have the IT knowledge necessary to set up their servers that way. Most likely they'll have moved off of desktop options and moved to online versions of their software that you'd be able to access easily.

I’m a current Accounting & Finance student working towards my AAS. I also work full time as an Accounting assistant at a local Landscaping company, in which I handle most of their AR duties. I don’t have a degree yet, but I do have experience in the field. Do you think I’d realistically be able to get started doing freelance work and establish credibility?
@@theindependantthinker6501 I don't have a degree and am an accounting assistant. I landed a bookkeeping job by accident and when my co worker retired I became a full charge bookkeeper for 18 yrs. I guess background has a lot to do with it.

How do we invoice clients for Xero ? Do we just add on our invoice or let them have subscription?
