"it has a little USA flare to it" Every vape inhaling UEL fan here in the US would shit their pants seeing an Outback and a Forester slide together. The Japanese way of modifying cars is truly unique and is something replicated in our culture. USA flare is a massive compliment, because the Subarus here lack individuality. This is making the car yours, in your own way, and enjoy it in your own way. Your culture doesn't follow the crowd, it brings a crowd. Down to earth car modifying never goes old.
3:18 it's pretty refreshing to see the big kenny b style awd entry on japanese drift event, and the overall western vibes of the other cars too and also i see, you're a cultured nikon enjoyer as well
That Evo is definitely one of the highlights for me. Crazy how it's still in 4WD and it does that kind of angle, especially that dip slide. Looks so good as well
What the hell, the City belonging to that plate is only 20 miles from my hometown. I wonder if the car is actually registered in Germany or if it is only for Show?
Today I was in this exact same city this plate belongs to and I just checked real quick if this license plate is still available. It is already in use, so it could be the real deal. Also the small brown-red circle after the WÜ shows that this car has to have its TÜV check (which has to be done every 2 years) in 2022 because every colour indicates a certain year.
As someone who lives in Seattle (Pacific Northwest USA), I have seen a lot of Subarus styled like the one at 7:20 , thanks for the great content as always.
I mean there are a fair amount of Subaru owners in the Pacific Northwest. I see them all the time on the I-5. I don't exactly know if they're big in PNW car culture tho.
Those early boxy Soarers ( 2:37 ) really are cool looking cars. Also, for some reason, I really like that peach and brown color combo on the early Forester
Not sure about anybody else but I absolutely loved the picture taking laid over the video drift shots. Such a cool visual! Loving the content lately man!
Yes the Subaru look you’re asking about is extremely popular in the pacific NW here in the states. Washington and Oregon, where every 3rd or 4th car is some sort of Subaru.
And the fact that some people would call most of these cars riced, it's made for a look it's built like a show car and my god do they do it well. These cars are stunning.
Man i just like your videos. It´s so refreshing that you love what you do and show imperfect but creative and authentic cars with nice people. I really enjoy seeing your vids in my timeline. Big thanks from Germany
These cars rock a European inspired US style from the mid 2010 era. Before stance and widebody got out of hand. If you're bored, look up old videos from an event called H2Oi in Ocean City Maryland. Similar to Worthersee's but with more than Euro cars. So happy to see you do some photography bits again. That's what got me following you well before the RUclips days. You always had great stuff and looks like you haven't lost your touch.
I live in Portland Oregon on the PNW and could easily call this state the home of Subaru at least in North America, you'll see all kinds of styles of Subarus, including the lowstar stance and the following of wagons
Awesome! Love the cars, great to see different stuff, esp on track. Best video I've seen in ages. I hope you've got more track footage from this day, as I wanna see it.
this is one of my favorite videos ever from you. i love these cars the “low style” events are everything i’ve ever wanted to see close up footage of from you. my dream is to hit a low style event the day i can make it out to japan
Started doing photography back in 1969 . . . first 35mm was a Miranda then Minolta and finally a Nikon FM. Used Leica as well. Now I’m an iPhone guy. I miss the analog days.
RWD swapped AWD cars are some of my favorite kind of drift cars! (Team Orange's Evo's and Impreza's are my favorite drift cars ever 😩❤) So cool, unique, and out of the box I think these builds embody the sport of drifting itself so well! Dope video Alexi!

"Where is this look popular? The United States? Pacific Northwest?" That is 100% correct I live in Seattle and can confirm this. Haha.
Yup Seattle representing
On the east coast, it's really popular in latino communities to have million-spoke rims, and 45 degree camber on every wheel on any mazda possible.
I'm in Mississippi, and can confirm all subarus here look exactly like that one lol
I'm in thr pacific northwest of Canada. These cars are thankfully not popular.
Yall remember when that cop ran through the crowd in tacoma?
OH man! Some incredibly cool stuff at this.
Hi lads
Oi lads! Need a more rings sticker
But what about the pockets lad, are they mint?
I’m really enjoying the “Japan in a van” docuseries.

Mochi gang ✌️😂
at 2:05 when he pulls out of the pits I think he has a Mochi sticker on his window too

Also Hert Pizza sticker on the tail light from Hoonigan.

that “outback” is everything i love about subarus man
