I have been in ER bed for 28 hours or so until I was placed in a hospital room. Every ER is a fucking comedy. Like you would think it's on sitcom level of characters are there. I saw a woman under police watch after mental breakdown and suspected murder, demented woman who kept saying she is not a prostitute (no one was calling her one). 3-4 people high and drunk on their asses on ice/dope and alcohol and needing 5 men to restrain each of them. Transgender boys/girls after attempts, rape victims, crackheads explaining crackpot theories to every passing nurse, people attempting to escape the ER despite clearly needing urgent care and all the family members of all those people who are normal or even worse than those mentioned in their personalities. It is loud af with all those people in there and also the best of all is the nurses I've talked to were all fucking done with nursing after ER experience..
Its like she walked into a romcom sitcom hospital tv show filming instead of an a actual hospital. I can imagine her hearing the laugh track and looking around like wtf?
I was being rushed to the hospital with a ministroke, and the EMTs were casually talking, cracking jokes the whole time. Especially once there was nothing to do other than wait until we got to the hospital in an ambulance, and I was joining them. I wasn’t in pain, and I was completely aware of my surroundings, but the entire left side of my body was paralyzed. I don’t know how I was able to communicate when i couldn’t move the left side of my face, but i managed lol. Having normal conversations in a situation like that is comforting, and it makes the seriousness of the situation hit way less hard. We weren’t ignoring the ministroke, we just weren’t entirely focusing on it.
It’s just a normal day at work for them. They’re not serious all the time. I remember being in a surgery room watching a procedure and the doctors were talking about their golf games while using a drill on some guys ankle.
It's actually very common and normal for medical staff to joke around and engage in not too serious conversations during morbid procedures, it's literally because you need to detach from it to a degree. It's sort of like a coping mechanism, but it's pretty much necessary. Basically, humour is a good tool to soften tense situations.
Yeah, I thought the exact same thing at first when I had my first surgery. I was like "damn these Surgeons are chill af like they're not gonna just put me to sleep and slice me open" 😮😱😂
yeah but being in theater is different bc the patient is asleep under anaesthesia... its kind of weird to just be flirting in front of your awake patient lol
That's the funniest story I've heard from the streamer space in a long time. As an RN student, can confirm we make bare jokes with each other right in front of the pt while administering care. Just another day in the office for us!!! 🤷
This happens in hospital all the time. 😂😂 It’s understandable that for doctors it’s their workplace, workplace flirting / banter does happen everywhere.
I'd say that was unprofessional behaviour and she should have called them on it but it may have been great for keeping her mind off her ankle! A number of funerals I've been to have had some weird thing happen that got people's attention which would otherwise have been consumed with grief.
Wow Sydney is pretty strong but I'm also shocked that these rather well off streamers are just going to urgent care rather than an emergency room? There's no way they're afraid of the bill? Lol
Look, old habits die hard. Especially with how American ERs work where a lot shame you for coming for minor things that could have been seen at an urgent care. Like most ERs have a section that operates like UC because of this. So instead of swallowing the giant bill to end up with the same treatment people will often just go to UC and take their chances
I don’t think so, I remember Sydney had a boyfriend, she took him to the streamer awards (I think). Not sure if they’re still together though. I don’t really keep up with the dating stuff.
admittance nurses are usually like this at the fancy hospitals usually owned i.e cedars-sinai/ucla/usc/standford im a frenquent flyer at hospitals so ive become immune to nice nurses and only know of the mean(overworked/understaffed) ones once your inside lmao
Los Angeles urgent care is like a goofy sitcom from hell
All urgent are is like a goofy sitcom
so what you're telling me is those sitcoms are not sitcoms but reality shows
@@Roflmao6173 they're more documentary than anything else if you want my honest opinion...lol

If you've seen the show scrubs, yes based on real urgent cares in LA 🗿
Sydney is such a good story teller and I love how she laughed as she was telling her story because of how absurd it all was
its interesting. This is a particular way of storytelling that I've heard many times being a Cali guy but you're right, its hard to not listen.
@@classyjohn1923 I was fully engaged, digital eye contact and all

now we know how the background, episodic characters feel
I’m sorry but I would have lost it the moment that doctor said “boo thang” 😂 How did Sydney and Jodi keep it together
Cant blame the lady for trying to rizz up Brodin

It keeps the edge off for both you and the EMTs
Yeah we’re social animals allot of our reactions to things are based on how those around us react. Those EMT’s did a great job
It’s just a normal day at work for them. They’re not serious all the time.

Today's episode of Syd's Anatomy is fucking wild.
it's a typical episode of a hospital show. patient in the background while the doctors talk about their life while working.
In some ways I'm jealous of Sydney's experience of a borderline unprofessional ER because all of my (many) ER experiences have been marked by boredom.
flirting over the ankle is CRAZY
Somebody needs to animate this entire story lol!
She doesn’t sound like trying to rizz brodin, but just need attention from everyone in this hospital hahahahahahahha

Brodin not breaking eye contact
Tbh, brodin is a cool dude
lmao, she was in a tv show
Is she into you?
Brodin: C - Cant Tell
When the lady said she wanted to watch a RUclips video, I laughed so hard I started crying😂
Girls who looking for guys over 6ft must love Brodin
Mr. Worldwide
Oh, he is handsome.
She just wanted to watch the new mogul mail
Well, if you go to any SF hospital, its like an audition of homeless people being the best crackheads.
Omg 😂😂
can confirm lmao
Brodin has so much rizz, he doesn't need to rizz anyone.
Of course women try to Rizz up brodin, he's tall and has great hair!
And he’s freaky see right there the holy trinity
@@Samgotboredd he is?
This is one of those videos that makes me resonate with the people that comment about the minutes of their lives they will never get back
Alternate title : Syd and Brodin meet Harley Quinn

The world was on drugs that day lamo
He’s hot af so I understand her lol
Brodin either makes or attract broken people😂😂
This would be a good animation 😂
You like Ralph’s ? 0 Rizz
I would try to rizz brodin too
US is surreal
I mean, Brodin does look like model material
I think i have a similar story. Someone said "oh maria pls" and i just laughed plus more happened
L.A urgent care is like a video game i swear
I'd say that was unprofessional behaviour and she should have called them on it but it may have been great for keeping her mind off her ankle!

Gigachad brodin
Damn, 2am and can't believe im actually tuned into this story at 😂
I wanna work at an LA ER now lol
Extra proof that we guys absolutely cannot pick up "hints"😂
haha, what a crazy story
this sound like some reality show 😂😂😂
medical workers are always freaky for me. thank you for the service though!
Average episode of scrubs
=) ah the memories
I'd rizz up Brodin if i could
honestly same
brodin kinda hnggghh
Should have turned up the volume. Mine is maxed and it's still quiet
Sydney meets Harley Quinn
California seems like a place that will be heaven for all the people I will hate 😅. (Except Silicon valley)
Sounds like Scrubs tbh
Hospitals need to stop being a drama show
not the ralph's rizz x'D
is syd okay?

it's good they don't abuse the system cuz they are rich
this is a good thing
Urgent care is usually way less busy than emergency care so I mean, if your injury lets you, you usually get in and out quicker in my experience
They are rich. Not like us.
Can someone explain the stream to me?... I'm new here
Sydney broke her ankle
maybe his gf was off-duty nurse or doctor or something.
I wonder if syd notices he likes her! :0
What makes you think that? He’s a good listener and is attentive/ respectful in general
wtf HAHAHAHAHAHA
😭😭😭
american healthcare is odd. this sort of thing doesnt happen in canada.... except for strange people wearing lipstick. that's everywhere
You know looking at them both here in this situation, they look good together, Idk what their love life like, but it would be cool if they dated.
Syd talking about herself at someone whats new
Are these both dateing
Nope
Everyone is dating. Everyone you see online in any video is dating everyone else in every video. Always. People only interact when they're dating
who knows 🤷♀️ maybe
She has a bf…
