Andrew is my absolute most favorite actor of all time and I've seen ALL of his movies. I think 99 homes was such an underrated movie despite it being absolutely phenomenal especially when Andrew paired up with Michael Shannon. Those 2 especially Andrew really signified what movies are supposed to be like. Good acting, script, screenplay, and directing. You don't need millions and millions of budget. Love you Andrew
Man the social network as his 5th role and then going into 2 blockbuster comic movies, a solid showing of range in 99 homes to one of the best war hero movies in recent memory. Crazy stuff
@@jayfilms99 i hadn’t seen silence but after this video i’m gonna give it a watch i’m aware of the time period and context it’s some really interesting subject matter thanks for the recommendation
Thank you for giving Silence the respect it deserves. Kichijro’s character really describes the human condition in the face of suffering and silence. Great film, wonderfully shot, and crazy that it’s the next film that Scorsese directed after the wolf of wall street
Andrew Garfield's Spiderman is so great? I remember these movies playing on the small old TV every Christmas I spent in my grandma's house so I have HUGE nostalgia towards them. Also I've always resonated with this Spiderman the most, so I never got it why people don't like The Amazing Spiderman movies. I rewatched them recently and the crane scene in the first one actually made me cry, it gives you so much faith in the humanity. Damn, I could say that about basically every scene in both movies
And by the way I agree with you. The Social Network, Silence and The Eyes of Tammy Feye should have brought him at least an Oscar nomination. Silence even the Oscar!
Great ranking! For me would be Tick, tick,... BOOM on the top of his performances, but I really get why you chose Silence. Amazing film, amazing performace! I haven't yet watched all his movies, but I'm trying hard ;-) I can not find Boy A in any streaming service and only found 99 homes in Amazon Prime unfortunately synchronized in German (I live in Germany). Thank you very much for this amazing video!
I'm a huge Andrew Garfield fan and this is just the video I've been looking for! Not only do I love your insight on Andrew's filmography, but the video itself is well-made and deserves more views. The music at the end that played over your speech about films being for audiences was beautiful! 10/10 RUclips video!
Thank you so much for this video it's really well made and deserves more views. Andrew Garfield recently just blew me out of the park upon watching a few of his films recently and has easily climbed into my favorite actor slot. I've never heard of so many of these films and excited to watch them! Something about Andrew is so infectious and genuine, thanks for recognizing his talent, I'm sure he would be honored.
Yo this is one of my favorite comments I’ve gotten, thanks so much for the kind words and I’m hyped you enjoyed the video. Hope you have a blast checking out more of his filmography, enjoy it!
His true crime miniseries, Under The Banner Of Heaven, is absolutely terrific and fits right in with that run of movies he did about men of faith being tested.
I love Andrew Garfield his movies are my favorite I can put on any one of them and be fully confident that Ima have a great time he makes his presence KNOWN in any role

I see. That’s understandable!!! I agree with you Andrew is an amazing actor! I recently watched all his movies as well! And I enjoyed all of them. Even the weird ones! I agree none of them are bad! I can’t wait to see more of his amazing work! I really enjoyed this video!!!!

Of course, didn’t have time to talk about Kichijiro but definitely could make a whole separate video about him. Scorsese is the guy
Great book too. Endo Shusaku wrote it

After everything the MCU had done the last few years we’d be lucky to get a movie like TASM 2
@@jayfilms99 I don't even want to think about the present state of the MCU 💀
this was the push i needed to go through all his more "difficult" films ty :)
Glad to be of service, push through cuz there's always something awesome ahead

Dang Jay…. Now I’m gonna be stuck watching all 16 of his movies for the next few days 🤧
very well put ranking imo 👌
Thanks for watching! If you watch the movies let me know your ranking
The fact he didn't get an Oscar for Silence is a crime. I rewatched it just yesterday and it's a masterpiece, one of Scorsese's best movies.
Wasn’t even nominated! Absurd

awesome video. andrew garfield should watch this.
Thank you, that means a lot. Glad you enjoyed. That would be insane if he did
Boy A is criminally low on this list, but great vid 🤘
That’s just how good the rest of the films are
Loved this video
Great video 😁
I think boy A is such an underrated movie, it did something to me and it's actually one of my favorites
Highly agree, super underrated
Andrew Garfield is way overdue for an Oscar.
Where is red riding 1974? His acting in that film was god tier (great trilogy and awesome novels)
Hacksaw ridge my favorite
An excellent choice
So glad I got to meet him🤩he is very kind,in film or not
That’s amazing, where did you meet him?
@@jayfilms99 at the San Antonio expo and carshow
No I wanna watch all these movies
I had a good time with it
What about Red Riding:1974? Great movie
I did watch it, but I decided to only talk about the theatrical movies (and tick tick boom)
Y’all forgot about the hit movie Andrew stars in mumbo jumbo
why does 2007 andrew garfield look like 2010s bo burnham
commenting for the algorithm ❤
Thank you!
Vilgax for villain review?
Never let me go is one of my favourite movies, why is it so low on the list 😢
Honestly no disrespect to the film, there's just a ton of great films. Some of the higher ups Social Network, Wolf, Silence are all generational films
What about red riding? U didn’t review that movie????
I watched it, but decided to leave TV movies off since the video was already so long

Did you see him in mambo Jumbo??
I did, I watched the shorts too but decided not to include them for time

I have broken the 666th view
The second comment, 5th view
Thanks for watching!
So you said that he hasn’t been in a bad movie, but Amazing Spider Man 2 is exists. I love AG too, but that movie just sucks.
Rewatch it. I won’t accept bad
