what you fail to address or even mention when asking could batman exist in the real world is, how would batman hide who he is from the police in the real world, in todays world we can id people from their voice and even from how they speak and what words they use, we can id people from how they walk and move, these things are not easy to hide any time batman gets seen or some one captures him on video, experts and ai will review that footage over and over many times, a real life batman could never be rich yet alone be a billionaire, and besides armour and technology how much money would you need, after all the punisher is like a cheap batman and he gets by with almost nothing, batman could really exist but it would have to be someone like me and not a bruce wayne.

This came into my recommended after the new Absolute Batman comic came out. Do I believe canon earth prime Batman could exist? No, but Absolute Batman? It’s a far bigger possibility that he could exist. Tone down some things like the origami cape and I think that version of Batman definitely could exist in our world (let’s not take into account that comic writers have him at only 250lbs, based on his size he’d be like 300lbs+)

I do enjoy a villain that is reasonable and not hypocritical. There are villains that you love because of how much you hate them. But there are some that you love because they are genuinely too epic and we sympathize with.

Just because something is cliche doesn't mean it's bad. That's probably something I've grown tired of hearing "cliche". Nothing has been a cliche for almost over a decade now, instead the "new" cliche is to sh°° on what came before that because it used to be done before, it is therefore needing to be discarded. Cliches are known because they work. You only learn to complain about something being done or being a "cliche" because the "newer" things constantly poke fun or belittle the old. I was already getting tired of this back when it was rising to prominence back in the mid 2010s.

So many things I love about Ursula. She is so expressive -- she makes split-second changes between charming and furious. She is the only Disney villain I could ever describe as unprofessional. She's got her client (Ariel) in her office, but she's overly casual, is doing her hair and makeup and eating snacks. Try to imagine Maleficent doing that. Like many Disney witches, she's a teen predator (no, it doesn't have to be sexual). She knows Ariel is young and impulsive and uses that to her advantage. She's a loan shark who offers the absolute worst deal, but she knows Ariel will fall for it. She's so sure of it that she starts getting out ingredients to create the spell even before Ariel says yes. Her animation is unique. The motions she makes are very much like a real octopus -- someone obviously did a lot of research. I love the body language between her and Ariel -- Ariel is very obviously uncomfortable by being touched by her.

It's NOT HARD to find his scheme engaging! SOOO accurate to the year, to British culture, and both toys & machines steeped superbly in period technology. Use imagination as you watch!

My favourite scene with the Prospector has to be this bit: Stinky Pete: It's too late, Woody! That silly Buzz Lightweight can't help it! Woody: *angry* HIS NAME IS BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! Not only does it showcase Stinky Pete's hatred of space toys in general, but it showcases a parallel to Woody in the first movie. When Woody first met Buzz, he was constantly insulting him (even misnaming him on purpose) and being downright malicious in some scenes (trying to knock Buzz behind the desk, anyone?). But now, Buzz is Woody's best friend. Woody is essentially looking at what he could have become... and he hates it. This comes back again when Stinky Pete attacks Buzz, and Woody has lost all sense of rationality, getting his arm ripped again. Speaking of which, as I'm typing this now, that's a good parallel to what happens during Andy's playtime. Andy has Woody and Buzz do the handshake and accidentally rips Woody's arm. Woody is understandably upset to miss Cowboy Camp, be he also doesn't hold anything against Buzz because he knows that isn't his fault. In the climax of the film, Woody has his arm ripped again by Stinky Pete deliberately, because he was *defending* Buzz. Man... the more I think about this movie, the more brilliant I realise it is.
