I went there years ago. I was lucky to see the Grand Staircase, Nomadic and the Thompson Graving Dock. They were going to refurbish the Drawing Offices. I don't know if this has been done yet. I will definitely go back sometime. Thanks for a well presented video as always. I hope your channel grows l, as it deserves too.
Great to see you again! Enjoyed the video. I went there in 2015, looks like I need to go back. Yep, the gift shop's a dangerous place - I still have a very questionable 'Heart of the Ocean' knock off to prove it!
Great video- Belfast native here, and had my first visit today to Titanic Belfast. Brilliant experience and proud to have it in my city, I must say though the experience isn’t great at coping with big crowds, we’re already working out our next visit when kids are back to school and footfall is perhaps quieter, but 35 minute wait for the ride (which we skipped) and literally stacked with visitors and kids running round definitely took the shine off of it for me. Nothing short of amazing to see the life vest and Hartley’s violin in person. Agreed about the photo op and gallery detailing the sinking! Not a negative review from me, nor a poor one, but high numbers change the experience
It is crazy how busy it gets and it does make a difference to a visit. The ride is good but it’s not vital to the visit and I’m sure next time you’ll have better luck. Belfast is such a great city full of friendly people and I’m so happy it’s embracing it’s appeal to the world, not just with Titanic. Thank you for the comment and I’m glad you liked the video 😁👍🏻
You can view the staircase every now and then during special events. For example, they offer afternoon tea on selected Sundays, usually throughout the summer months.
I went to the museum years ago to see a Game of Thrones exhibition they were holding. I managed to sweet talk my way in to getting a peek at the grand staircase because I was a huge Titanic buff. I agree with your review of the end of the tour. It’s a bit underwhelming and contradicting to go from remembering the Titanic disaster to pretending you’re the king of the world.
It makes no sense to me that the grand staircase wouldn’t be part of the experience for everyone. That staircase was literally the grandest part of the ship! 🤨
Do not go down the steps in front of the titanic sign! I have fallen on the steps because while day it wasn’t lit and I couldn’t see how deep the steps were and how narrow some were and I completely missed one and sent me flying to the ground and fractured my ankle in 3 places and dislocated it
I'm 100% sure that you're in the minority, in regards to your feelings on the bow section. Pretty sure everyone wants to reenact that scene from the movie. Personally, I would like to do it in a very comedic way.
That Belfast airport there is one 2 very racist blonde women I'm going to visit the tinanic they didn't tell me to pass at the airport because I was so hot they arrested me 3 days later they voted me
I was a docent for the Titanic exhibit in Seattle in 1999. Have always had a fascinating for the Titanic story. Can't say why? Maybe curiosity. Maybe to know if I would have survived. Think I would have. Would love to visit the center (although not sure why it's not in the UK) but Ireland is way too antisemitic and anti-israel for my tastes.
I really want to go to the museum in Belfast😄
It’s brilliant.
only way i can get there by way of a lottery win

The drawing offices have been refurbished now, I’m yet to go in there and see for myself though.
Thanks for the comment 👍🏻.
