I had some woman try to pull any insurance scam on me which she literally said. Luckily I called my insurance company as soon as I put the car in park. They had her recorded telling the driver she hit they would both get new cars at my expense because I hit her. Then started screaming about a child and carseat except there was no child. As well as her screaming death threats at me. Then refused to provide her insurance information which is illegal in my state.(everything was recorded by my insurance company). When she ultimately made a claim she was told they had the whole incident recorded and that she was responsible for her own damages which from my pictures were non existent, and that if she tried to sue me they would provide a copy of the recording so she would get nothing, her insurance carrier was also sent a copy. The guy she hit tried to file a claim with my insurance because she had told him it was my fault. My insurance company gave him her information and from what my insurance company said she was promptly dropped from their company after they paid his damage, not to mention she then had a mark that would make it almost impossible to get car insurance without paying an arm and a leg.
Two step car fraud invalidated. This looks like a wealthy neighborhood judging from the big house on the left side so they came over there hoping to scam some rich person.
This is 100% an insurance scam attempt, she puts on the brakes right before she hits the curb, not even 30 seconds after the car stops her "husband" is already in his car waiting for the driver to show up, he starts to pull out into the road before the driver gets near, he is out in the road and targeting the car within 30 seconds of the first car stopping. She hit the curb to cause a jolt on her front facing dashcam, she was on the phone with her "husband" before she hit the curb telling him who the mark was, that is why he was up the road ready to stop the car, knowing which car "hit his wife".
Thanks, I wouldn't have known what was happening, but now that you point it out, it definitely is strange/suspicious how the husband already knows which car to stop in the middle of the road...as well as being there waiting in case the car speeds off.

Shanee Bahera They're on the phone whilst driving in convoy. She goes "I've just been hit". How long do you think it would take the husband to pull over? @@wonderwalls3565 Well it’s simple, typically the scammer will already have existing damage to their car or they will deliberately try to get hit by their target, without the dash cam it’ll be your word vs the scammer and the witness who is also a scammer so in many cases you will lose this case. But in this case the scammer didn’t make any contact at all and hard to see if they had existing damage. But my point is this was clearly a scam attempt and it’s all on camera. Are you blind? The Infiniti was in front of the SUV at the light. How does this comment have 550+ upvotes? That many people cant comprehend what's happening in a 2 minute video?
@Osiris Rewoke ...The silver car WAS directly in front of the woman's van. Check 0:29 in the video. As soon as she's going through the intersection, he's directly in front of her. But obviously he keeps driving when she hits the curb and stops, since we see him further up when the video driver drives past her. But he definitely was right in front of her when she passed through the intersection.

After all the comments seem to have honed in on the racial aspects of this piece... this makes me want to go out and refresh my Autocross skills just so I know I can drive out (and certainly not in) if it comes to it...
It wasn't a scam. At 0:29 she hits the curb, and mistakes it for her being rear-ended. More then likely she was on the phone with her husband/friend a few cars ahead that caused her to hit the curb and start this whole thing. Dash Cam saves the day though.
Kevin King nope, there is no way in 5 seconds they could have called the man to tell him what happened and him conveniently waiting ahead . There was not enough time , it was strategically done
123peeonyou No it wasnt ! It was an insurance scam ! The guys in the "tuned" Skyline were in it together with the 2 women. She had her phone out immediately and her buddies were right away there to stop the car and put them under pressure accusing them of a hit and run.
She hit it on purpose. This is a strategy ive seen a lot in Eastern Europe. Seems also very coincidental that both car owners are arabs. In Australia...
Ye and coincidentally he was driving right by... The purpose of this scam is not to get insurance money, but to threaten to call the cops on the victim for committing a hit and run and getting money right away. Thats why they dont want to produce a car accident in the first place and rather do what they did.
it is mandatory in some countries. south korea is one of them if i am not mistaken. and in Austria and luxembourhg it's forbidden. you have to pay $10.000 fine or 25k for repeat offenders
Dmanor "How else would he have known" Illegal use of mobile phones whilst driving would be my guess. It's what distracted her enough to hit the kerb in the first place. If you were travelling in convoy with your Mrs and she told you she'd just been hit wouldn't you pull over?
Its not, you can see right before she stopped she clipped the curb. My guess would be she thought her clipping the curb was her getting clips. More then likely she clipped the curb talking to the phone to her husband/friend just a few cars ahead. Was probably a legit mistake, that a dash cam clears up.

william dohn.... "The setup is too perfect".... you've got to be kidding, right! 1/ the SUV hits the curb possibly damaging the tyre &/or wheel 2/ if the cammer was meant to be the 'target', he was too far back for it to look like an accident 3/ the SUV's gentle braking gave the cammer plenty of time to pull up without even getting close 4/ the silver car was drawing a lot of unwanted attention with it's maneuvering 5/ the husband in the silver car was fumbling with his phone trying to get the camera working 6/ hubby also forgot to make sure his car was actually stopped properly 7/ the whole thing was done directly outside the petrol station & all it's security cameras. .... yeah, it was all SO perfectly done.... LMAO!
william dohn.... lol, that was about the response I expected from you.... e.g. no explanation for your calling it a "setup" & no answers for points that question your (so far unsupported) theory.....actually, you avoided mentioning your own 'setup' theory altogether. "Clearly this is over your head. Stick to things you might understand like most kids in kindergarten.".... Oh, I understand it all too well & I've very clearly given the reasons why I don't believe it's a scam/setup.... so how about you try giving us the reasons for your stance instead of making with the silly little kindergarten jibes! Livewire Haha, the cigarette lighter method is fine for basic operation. However, hardwiring allows for greater flexibility. Advantages: Clean, unobtrusive wiring. No cables to get in the way. You can have 24/7 operation even when parked (depending on the capabilities of the dash cam). You have the option to hardwire to an external battery with no fear of draining the car battery. The external battery is recharged when the car is driving.
The first car with the woman probably had a dash cam too but only facing the front. Thats why she hit the curb. To show a jult or bump in her car to make it seem like she had been rear ended. And then the second car was there to get license plate and also probably act as a witness to back up her story about being rear ended by the car if/ when the cops showed up.

They are both in on it. The women pretend you hit them, then the guy up ahead tries to instigate an argument while recording your car and that's how you get scammed with a "witness".
TheLondonCyclist "They are both in on it" Really? Here's what I see followed at each step by my thoughts. 1. The first car clips the kerb. She pulls over because she thinks she's been bumped. 2. She steps out of the car clutching a mobile phone, this is probably what distracted here enough that she hit the kerb. Maybe she's mid call with someone. 3. The second car pulls out to block the road, he's also holding a phone as if he's mid call with somebody, maybe it's somebody he's in convoy with, maybe it's somebody who's told him that they've just been hit and the guy is driving off. I don't see a scam here. I see people using mobile phones whilst driving and as a result nearly causing accidents whilst simultaneously blaming others for something that hasn't actually happened. What are your thoughts?
The usual suspects it's their culture to lie to the infidel, just two more examples of the failure of multiculturalism. This is the real nature of Is lam. Everywhere these vermin go things go bad.
It's not a scam. The male driver and the female driver are together. You can see his car in front of hers as they go through the intersection. She hits the drain cover and stops to see whether she's damaged anything. The driver in front realises she's no longer following and stops. He then sees her checking for damage, sees the car behind drive past, and thinks it was involved.
Can we acknowledge how good this driver was he encountered two horrible drivers and was able to avoid an accident especially since the guy driving the Infiniti looks like he does this often just pulls out in front of oncoming traffic and tries to get hit

Let's go over the charges that need to be laid against the Skyline driver. * Fail to give way when merging. * Stopping a vehicle in the middle of a main road. * Attempting to exit a vehicle that has not been parked. * Using a phone while operating a vehicle. * Driving on the wrong side of the road in the path of oncoming traffic. Hopefully the grease ball loses his licence.

@@davidpowell3347 no, bit they should be find whilst on their phones. She looked to hit the drain cover and genuinely thinking she had been hit by a car, but she didn't have time to look and evaluate the situation because she was in panic and car drove off, on the phone already to the husband that's up ahead (driving to work, her dropping of the kids to school, whatever the reason) she's thinking she's been hit and run and tells husband to stop the car and husband does what he thinks right in the moment
They were relying on them NOT having a dash cam, and why would her family member be waiting half a block away from where it happened
The Infiniti was in front of the car... You can see when she pulls over. It wasn't just waiting there...

No shit sherlock.

@@wonderwalls3565 Well it’s simple, typically the scammer will already have existing damage to their car or they will deliberately try to get hit by their target, without the dash cam it’ll be your word vs the scammer and the witness who is also a scammer so in many cases you will lose this case. 4/ the silver car was drawing a lot of unwanted attention with it's maneuvering
5/ the husband in the silver car was fumbling with his phone trying to get the camera working
6/ hubby also forgot to make sure his car was actually stopped properly
7/ the whole thing was done directly outside the petrol station & all it's security cameras.

It happened to me. Got accused of doing 95mph in a 60 zone (felony charge), honestly was NOT speeding, but I had no way to prove it. Luckily for me the public defender was able to amend it to a normal speeding ticket
Tried to pull a scam....family style lol
Jonathan Sage
Wasn’t a scam. She nailed the curb and was too dumb to realize. Instead, she thought she had been rear ended.
Derek A you missed the whole second half of the video, why would her husband/male friend be that fast in blocking him down the road? No one is that coordinated when it’s an “accident”
@@imchaotix5450 What was the play, here? There was no damage to her vehicle, so how exactly was this scam going to work? Was hitting the curb part of the scam?
Derek A idk why don’t you ask the people who run head first into cars. What was the play? People are not as perfect as you may seem. Who knows what their play was but if she saw no damage why did she call her husband/friend to block the road? Explain that, otherwise don’t waste my time
Family Style....a la Idiocracy. Lol!
This is one of the videos that encouraged me to buy a dash cam as I live around Liverpool where this scam is pulled off.
You mean you EXIST around Liverpool, hope you Liver is ok... ha hah
Legit aye
The video did it’s job then. They’re selling dashcams, this entire video is fake
This scam happens all around the world
bullet proof vest needed around there
Are people viewing this blind? Why are people saying this is a scam?
If you watch the video you clearly see her clip the Kerb and that's why she stops. The women were obviously following the male and seeing as they stopped and alighted he probably thought they had been rear-ended by dashcam guy. He was just recording dashcam's reg/driver to report it. No scam, just a genuine mistake.
Yeah, I think it's pretty obviously incompetence.
My big question here is, how did she make that call so fast?? When I see something happen in front of me and I want to take a photo with my phone, it takes me at least a minute of opening wrong apps and cursing and throwing the phone into a river. She got on her phone and made that call within 3 seconds of hitting the kerb. And don't even get me started on the spoiler on that fully sikk skyline.
Jesus Christ she was already on the phone, it's a pre-planned scam. Now turn this water to wine please Jesus..
fraud thats how
Or - and here's an earth shaking theory - they guy has a rear view mirror and could see his family members getting out of their vehicle and looking at the back... It's not rocket science.
That fully sheik skyline lol
Scam, guy in the silver car was in on it. Thank goodness he had a dash cam.
Hopefully that guy in the ricer was reported. And that ugly, juvenile wing tho!
I would not be able to hear what that guy with opened doors is saying because my horn would be active from the second I had to slow down to the point where he moves out of the way. Yes im that guy.
Thumbs up for your honesty, not your horn practice.

How are you going to deport a legal citizen from their own country? Where would they get deported to? Are you really that much of an idiot.
Earwax Clump He's probably joking, also you don't know if they're a legal citizen or not so maybe stop assuming? If they're committing a scam like that then they deserve to be in jail. Scams like that are often pulled off by illegal immigrants as they are trying to get quick and easy money. If you try to say they had cars (and likely drivers licenses) therefore they are legal, not necessarily as the car could be stolen, bought illegally, driven without a license or they may have been able to obtain a driving license while still being an illegal immigrant.
These people do deserve the worst though. Revoke their license for lifetime and hope it really fucks up their life.

When you can't drive and end up hitting a curb so you blame it on the car behind you
it's a scam they're pulling
Yeah, pay upfront and they won't report it.
Livin' The Dream So go ahead and report it then. There's no damage, so no evidence of an accident!
It's a scam, Jokes on them tho, They are both on camera now, As well as they judge curbed their car so really they are at a loss now.
Its a scam why else was there a man a random man that turns out to be the husband stop them
Tf are they listening to
Kind of unsatisfying no real resolution too many storylines left unresolved.
RoyDurett yeah hehehe, if you look closely you can see it is not a scam, it's more of confusion on the driver in front. The silver car is in front of the black van and when the passenger woman gets out she was on her cell phone already. I think she was already on the phone following the guy and when they felt the hit from the curb they believe it to be a hit and run from the guy yelling to put their hazard lights.
seems more like a scam to me why else would they happen to have someone on the same road ready to try to block the person off like that ?
if you dont know what this is its the old "highwayman scam" used a lot during medieval times in Europe
the silver car was not in front of the other car it was parked on the side of the road waiting ...
Small and inconsequential edit to what you said. The first person who get's out of the van (in the red hijab), is a child. She is the passenger. The older lady in the blue hijab is the driver. Cars in Australia have the driver on the right hand of the vehicle, not the left. This footage would be great when it's handed in to police. Both drivers were holding their phones while driving, which is a federal offense in Australia. What tools.
"The first person who get's out of the van (in the red hijab), is a child. She is the passenger."
so what?
"The older lady in the blue hijab is the driver. "
no shit
"Cars in Australia have the driver on the right hand of the vehicle, not the left"
no shit..
"Both drivers were holding their phones while driving, which is a federal offense in Australia"
1. a FEDERAL OFFENSE? really? its a FEDERAL CRIME to have your cell phone while driving? the same level of crime as treason? that seems a bit extreme it might be nationally banned but a FEDERAL crime? i find that hard to believe.
2. both of them are holding phones .. which would lend credit to this being a scam attempt.. both cars were in communication with each other..
the silver car that pulls out is not the same silver car in front of the suv, also the silver car pulls out before it can even see the video recording car which means the person in the suv was in contact with the person in the silver car with the shitty wing on the trunk
Don’t forget fraud
Plus being a proper idiot by international standards
chappy0061 that’s a g35 not a skyline
David, the Infiniti G35 and V35 Skyline are an identical car. The only difference is the badging. Correcting people on such a pointless difference is just petty.
Also, in this instance, if you actually look at the back of the car when he is pulled in front of the cam driver, you will see the round Nissan logo and the word SKYLINE in silver letters underneath.
Did you finally buy the full version of movavi though?

I like the last song fitting for this video..the wheels on the bus go round and round
That song tho. Haha
"Wheels on the car go round & round" Ha Ha it's a classic kids song. More likely to be on Play School.
What happened in the end, did you ever hear back from them? THE WORLD WANTS TO KNOW!!!
The real question that needs answered
The song choice of the dash cam, means there is most likely a baby in the back of the dash cam's car. I'm so glad there was no collision. kudos to the dash cam driver and family
Invested in a front and rear dashcam for this reason.
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. The idiots on the road go beep beep beep beep beep beep beep Oh no.... Crash all through the town.

Have a dash cam is always useful. You bought it for the wrong reason though, the accident in this video is clearly a misunderstanding.
@@nevarran wrong - she brakes before hitting the curb and the car in front of her isn't slowing down
@@nevarran Not a misunderstanding. It happened to me as well as I was going to work.
Wife bought a new car in Feb, and I had the dealer put a fr/rr camera in. 5 weeks later, BANG in a carpark. We only saw the damage when wife got home. I pulled the card on the camera, and sure enough, positive impact. Car's BRAND FUCKING NEW, and this bitch hits it in a car park. Doesn't leave a note or anything. But does check to make sure nobody saw it. Didn't see the dashcam. I found her the next day in the same carpark. She did give me her name, Maddie Weston (lives in Hammy Hill, drives a white Prado, reg-1GOK762, so if you see it, be aware!), but she refused to give me her address. Reported it to the insurance company and they got the details, and after I showed her the footage, she STILL said it was a scam. Here's the video, see if you think it's a scam... ruclips.net/video/XXKxZ__unz8/видео.html
There's only two reasons people won't buy a dashcam: 1) They can't afford it (That's a load of rubbish since if someone can afford a car and run it, they can afford a dashcam.) 2) They are bad drivers and can't bear the thought of their bad driving being recorded.. So the conclusion is: Anyone that does not have a dashcam nowadays is a bad driver and has something to hide.

The usual suspects it's their culture to lie to the infidel, just two more examples of the failure of multiculturalism. This is the real nature of Is lam. Everywhere these vermin go things go bad.
So this is what happens:
1) the SUV with the two women nick the sidewalk, they think someone rear ended them, and they stop and get out
2) the dash cam guy screams and swears at them and drives off, raging at a couple of women in a car
3) the husband in the other car blocks the dashcam guy accusing him of rear ending the other car
Essentially, a bunch of confused idiots all around.
Exactly it's not a scam. The wife was following her husband probably dropping off a car he detailed, she has her phone in her hand when she gets out so would have been on a call to him the whole time all she had to do was say they are getting away, Asians in a black Mazda or whatever. She thought he was cursing at her for causing a crash.
wheres the rest of the footage? goddam amateur youtubers. howd ya like to watch the climax of a movie and then turn it off never to know what happened.

Qi Qi I just installed an a119, it's not that expensive on eBay, there's so much choice out there though so you can't really go wrong. Good luck!
I was thinking of using one of my old gopro's, but I guess you would also need the telemetry to go along with it for the video to be worth anything.
the only thing you "need" is time/date. gps is optional. a119 is a great cam - i have 2 of them. but there's a lot of CRAP out there. don't buy the cheap $25 ones unless that's all you can honestly afford. there are some in the $50-80 range that are worth it.
