lol, I had the Sonos arc , sub gen3 and a pair of era 300 surround it’s fantastic but the Samsung sound really good with its prices too , what your saying is too loud but if you tune nicely on the Samsung it will sound similar like the pre-tune Sonos !
well done in making a comparison vid. I've heard both systems and the Arc win's if you a musically sounded person. For the average Joe the Samsung will sound bigger (sloppy/boomy) but less precise. The Sonos is closer to a dedicated system than the Samsung BUT you pay a premium for what it is.
Your timing could have been better. The new Arc2 is rumoured to be released in Autumn. The new tech should include Mayht which is a game changer for increased sound and base.
Big mistake mate, I agree sound is subjective but I'm a Sonos user for around 7 to 8 years now, I have the play 1, 3 and 5 in multiple rooms which I use specifically for music. I have the Samsung Q90R which is the Harmon/Kardon collaboration they did in 2020 (first one in 2019 Q950N) , they are the best soundbars for Dolby Atmos/DTS.X even today after 4 years. I use them paired with my Samsung Q80T for movie watching, there is no other soundbar that comes close to it including the Sonos, I heard Sony has released the Bravia Theatre Quad recently but I haven't heard it though....You were much better off getting Sonos multiroom speakers for music and leaving the Samsung Soundbard for Movies...
You are going to miss the Atmos height channels with the Sonos ARC setup, they are not as good as the Samsung Q90R. The new Sonos app is a nightmare as well, I still love the Sonos smaller speakers for music, but I would still keep the Samsung for movies...
People may disagree, liked for the effort to upload a video.

I've been using Samsung for a long time. For me, Sonos is a real upgrade. But sound is a subjective thing. I explain this in my latest video 🙂

Exactly on point

Nope it won't be released soon, because of their Sonos app fail upgrade

@@GogoMama-w4t interesting point mate. So far my journey with Sonos is very satisfying. I will share my experience in my new house in near future
Where did you buy the Samsung bar from? And how did you return it?
You have to set app your settings on the soundbar before you make your decision. You are making a wrong decision
Just for the looks i would buy the Sonos , i think Samsung really has a cheap feel.
Hey look at my new video. will upload in a bit. You will clearly see the difference.
True. And it starts with unpacking.
You need to change your topic to 930B model not the 990D model it’s big difference
@@bimalbk4u you can see my first video where I bought Q990
The Samsung sound better and louder
@@demetriasimmons3072 not really. Samsung is louder but sonos sound quality is much better
