Individuals love to hate on Bose but I will tell you this, I have the Bose 900, dual 700 bass modules, and Omni rears. I have absolutely zero issues with it. Zero connectivity issues anywhere within the system period. The app works perfectly at all times. The sound is perfectly crystal clear whether watching content or listening to music. The 700 bass modules are the Godzilla of bass. They are set at forty percent and are totally devastating. Bose doesn't perform all the wizardry of their competitors but it sounds stellar and performs flawlessly.

Sonos is decent for music and I have invested in a lot of sonos multiroom speakers from the good old days and I still have them, the play 1, 3, and 5's in every room of my house. However if you want a soundbar with dolby atmos and dts.x support for home theater, I would rate Samsung Q series soundbars, Sony Bravia wireless HT9 and HT9Mk2 and the Nakamichi soundbars in that order. There is nothing else that comes close to these in the market today

Hey Mate, the turntable you got is a good beginners setup, I would have gone for a belt drive AT-LP3X instead, anyways, my main advice for your is why are you streaming the turntable to your Sonos or Samsung soundbars(still not sure which one you ended up keeping). By streaming turntable sound to a bluetooth speaker you are converting analog signal to digital and loosing all the warmth, clarity and neutral sound analog music is known for, you are better off just streaming the music from spotify instead of spending money of the vinyl media :D. You should invest in a couple of things, an external phono pre-amp and a powered external speaker. As you are obviously getting started on Vinyl records, go for a Fosi Audiobox X2 external phono pre-amp and Edifier 1280DBS powered speakers for your turntable. It's an end-to-end analog setup and that is how vinyl records are meant to be heard. Welcome to the world of analog music , I have just scratched the surface for you, there is a lot more you can do here ;)

Big mistake mate, I agree sound is subjective but I'm a Sonos user for around 7 to 8 years now, I have the play 1, 3 and 5 in multiple rooms which I use specifically for music. I have the Samsung Q90R which is the Harmon/Kardon collaboration they did in 2020 (first one in 2019 Q950N) , they are the best soundbars for Dolby Atmos/DTS.X even today after 4 years. I use them paired with my Samsung Q80T for movie watching, there is no other soundbar that comes close to it including the Sonos, I heard Sony has released the Bravia Theatre Quad recently but I haven't heard it though....You were much better off getting Sonos multiroom speakers for music and leaving the Samsung Soundbard for Movies...

I have the Arc, dual Gen 3 subs, and Fives as rears (purchased before Era 300 were announced). Highly recommend dual subs if you have a large to extra large room size (one sub is more than enough for a small/med room). I love feeling the base compared to just hearing it with movies and music. Waiting to see if Sonos comes out with an Era 500 and/or Arc v2 down the road.

Your timing could have been better. The new Arc2 is rumoured to be released in Autumn. The new tech should include Mayht which is a game changer for increased sound and base.

Your reviews are mostly correct, if you are purchased after May 2024 the system and app not working properly it’s not because of wifi weak. My modem next to Sonos wifi drops entire systems. I having using over 3 years no issues, now my system are like a joke.

Hi, about the wi fi problem I may be wrong but if you plug the arc with lan cable to your modem then your sonos system will create it’s own wi fi group It’ll be more stable

lol, I had the Sonos arc , sub gen3 and a pair of era 300 surround it’s fantastic but the Samsung sound really good with its prices too , what your saying is too loud but if you tune nicely on the Samsung it will sound similar like the pre-tune Sonos !

well done in making a comparison vid. I've heard both systems and the Arc win's if you a musically sounded person. For the average Joe the Samsung will sound bigger (sloppy/boomy) but less precise. The Sonos is closer to a dedicated system than the Samsung BUT you pay a premium for what it is.

Hi. I’m really enjoying your videos and your feedback on Sonos. I brought a Bose soundbar, subwoofer and surrounds a few years ago I was very disappointed with it. Sold it and brought Samsung, I love it. But have always wondered about Sonos, but I couldn’t make another expensive mistake.

The Q990D has HDMI2.1 and the Q990C is only HDMI2.0. If you're planning on using the soundbar for console gaming, you WANT HDMI2.1

Also sonos set up with era is not 4k it will come around 2.4k

Sonos has dolby atmos it was not having dtsx but with new update dtsx also added to sonos.. but sonos is way to pricy
