Wow! That hit close to home as John Denver liked WEST VIRGINA and Alaska flying float planes. Denver appeared in several films and television specials during the
1970s and 1980s. He continued to record in the 1990s, also focusing on environmental issues as well as lending vocal support to space exploration and testifying in front of Congress in protest against censorship in music. "Rocky Mountain High", "Country Road" and "Leaving on a Jet Plane" are my favorites sung by John Denver. John Denver died at the age of 53 in a single-fatality crash while piloting his recently purchased light plane that he so loved to fly.. We all miss him!

Me neither, I never actually liked this song until I heard Andreea sing it. Beautiful voice, and IMHO she is drop dead gorgeous. Now I have to look up the Romanian version mentioned by "Trespasser." First heard her singing hard rock, and yeah she really rocks. Love it and her!!!

Andreea is such a superb singer, she can cover almost any style of music ( with no trace of any accent). I have NEVER cared for any "country" music before i heard this, so it has been added to my playlist along with Andreea/Iron Cross/ Andrei music!!!!!!

John Denver, eat your heart out! He could never have sung it as sweetly as you did, no matter how talented he was. I live not far from West Virginia, near the Ohio River. The Ohio River Boulevard is just a block away from my home. The river runs north here, then bends to the southwest to form the border between West Virginia and Ohio state. There's a lot of country around the city of Pittsburgh,, and the suburb where I live. I used to hunt and fish when I was young. The river is actually much cleaner now, but, we didn't mind it back then. Anyway, your singing brought tears to my eyes, once again, and awoke many memories. Thank you!
